We had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and clean, very comfortable! Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and even though there was no A/C, there were ceiling fans and other fans to keep it cool enough. Overall it was a very nice place.
The location was wonderful. We loved fishing off the dock and were able to put our little boat in just down the road. The kids had a blast in the water. We are definitely adding it to our favorites list.
It was so peaceful with beautiful views of the lake. Just what we needed & the dog too, tons of fun playing in the lake & large private yard.
Plenty of hiking trails close by & just a short jaunt to restaurants & shops.
Cabin is situated well on the property. It overlooks a slice of the lake between the trees with a slanted grassy area that leads to the lake and includes a fire pit. The space fit 5 adults comfortably enough (we brought an air mattress). We enjoying using the kayaks and canoes, the air hockey table, and the fire pit. Was exactly what we were looking for.
Beautiful and comfortable stay. Very clean and accommodating. Good fishing and nicely manicured, private yard. Lake rake for beach would've been nice. Unfortunately, we found by accident several potholes throughout the property and one of our crew spent 3 days with a badly sprained ankle. Great vacation spot otherwise. Check-in was easy and the kitchen was spotless. Five stars when the holes get filled!
We loved staying here! It was a great location for our purposes, and so very relaxing, even in the winter. I can imagine that it is even more wonderful in the summer!
The host is extremely helpful and answers questions immediately! We highly recommend this listing!
A number of things were either missing, or didn't work, Washer and Dryer missing, Dishwasher didn't work and living room sliding door needs new rollers so it can be opened easily.
Cabin was as advertised. Tons of room although we didn't spent a great deal of time there. Great location for us, minutes from Phillips. Beautiful views from the cabin and the pier. Could not have asked for more.
We enjoyed four nights at this beautiful cabin on Lake Musser. House was cozy and stacked with firewood, view of the snowy pine trees and iced over lake is good for the soul.
Nicely groomed cross-country ski trails a short drive from the cabin. We saw plenty of deer, a coyote and bald eagle!
We had a great weekend with my parents at the cabin. Perfect cabin for hanging with the family.
Hot weekend with no AC but we made it work! Deck and views were lovely.
It was a beautiful place to stay with a great view! Very big and spacious which made it a comfortable place. We had beautiful weather. Very Blessed!!! Thanks Again
This property was just right for our family of 5 and dog. Game room, full kitchen, two double beds in 1 bedroom for our girls with an extra mattress for our boy - in addition to our master bedroom, beautiful view from deck, 2 kayaks and 2 canoes, fire pit, grill … very secluded feeling. It was exactly what we wanted.
Good place, a few small changes would make it betterReally large space. Well equipped kitchen. My kid really liked the darts and air hockey. Big yard with a nice fire pit. The living room was comfortable. The beds could use a foam topper, especially in the room with two beds. If the Wi-Fi is weak take the router out of the cubby hole it's in and it will stop overheating. Once we did that we could get signal on the dock
Cabin on lake was beautiful had everything we needed BUT WARNING THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING!!! I failed to notice that when I booked it so don’t want anyone else to be surprised ..especially booking in summer
Had a fabulous time with some high school/college friends. Ended up catching about 50-60 fish including a small 30 inch musky. Place was exceptionally clean and the views from inside were perfect. The fire pit is located close enough to the water to really get the lake feel. The canoes and kayaks provided were way beyond expectation compared to previous up north stays. Very impressed and would definitely recommend.
Check-in was simple and straightforward. Basic kitchen needs are present. Living area was nice. We didn't spend much time indoors because the weather was great. Some nice games inside should the weather not cooperate. We didn't find any big fish but caught plenty of pan fish. Presently they are remodeling the lower portion of the house. Looks like it will be really nice when completed. The remodeling does not interfere with anything upstairs. The outside deck is nice. Campfire ring was great until the mosquitoes decided to interrupt the party. Plenty of parking available. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
The cottage was Great, a very nice place. We enjoyed indoor and outdoor fires. Had fun in the kayaks and my dog even learned how to ride in the canoe! Only disappointment was no swimming. Water was not good quality. Did catch some small fish, even a couple enuf to have a snack on. Very private setting. Kari was always easy to get answer from too.
Property and home were wonderful. Comfortable, relaxing, and perfect for our needs. Docking our 14 foot fishing boat at the dock proved challenging due to lack of posts along pier, but we managed. Fishing proved challenging but what we did catch was good size. 18 1/2 inch largemouth and a surprise 45 inch musky caught right off dock. All other bass good size as well!
Overall, a beautiful property, property manager who was easy to work with, and another great trip to northern Wisconsin.
The cabin is stunning. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room with the view of the lake is so incredible. There have been many updates made to the property as it seems very modern, but cozy at the same time. Loved the use of the kayaks. There was not much traffic on the lake, it was so peaceful. We actually caught lots of fish right from the dock, which was fun. We also brought our small fishing boat and were able to explore the lake with that as well. We did go to the county campground in Phillips (5 minute drive away) and swam at the beach one day. Lots of things to do in the area. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Overall, our stay was good. There was an ant problem in the kitchen, so we couldn't leave anything on the counter. A good bug spraying and powerwashing around the outside would just clean things up a little. Swimming is fair with a fair amount of weeds. Good fishing for younger kids. The air hockey was a big hit. We used the kayaks
and canoes which was nice. We did a last minute vacation with the grandkids and had a good time. Inside was clean except for the ants.
