The hosts were amazing. 2nd floor unit was spacious for 2 but could also be great for family. Fully well equipped kitchen. Great location. Grounds were amazing. We stayed 4 nights. Worked great as home base to Badlands, Mt Rushmore, Wind Cave, Custer State Park and more. Would stay again if in the area.

We’re so happy we found The Burdette House as we were planning our trip to South Dakota. The hosts thought of everything to make their guests feel at home. And what a gorgeous home! It’s an architectural gem and the decor and furnishing were beautiful yet comfortable. Plenty of amenities and outdoor spaces to enjoy. We loved sitting on the second floor balcony after a long day of sightseeing. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds were amazing, and the hosts made sure to keep in touch as our arrival neared. Thank you so much for helping to make our visit perfect! Lastly, anyone thinking about using Hot Springs as a home base for exploring the area, I highly recommend it. It’s much nicer (and quieter) than staying in hotels close to the national parks.

Denise and Andy are wonderful hosts. Not only was the property perfect for our needs but they went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. My kids loved the nightly turtle feedings as well. The location was great and so close to many state and national parks. We'll be staying here again if we're ever back in the area.

Our stay at the Burdette House was the best experience we could have hoped for. The house is so beautiful and so well done in every way. Exceptionally clean and attention to detail was outstanding. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Lovely, relaxing stay

The Burdette house is a well located, historic site. It is beautifully furnished, quiet.There are an on-site sauna, waterfall, pond, a deck and a porch.

Great location to explore Hot Springs, Wind Cave, and Custer State Park. Hot springs spa is literally a 2 minute walk and all restaurants are within walking distance. Wonderful town to explore. The owners are caring and helpful. The suite was clean and inviting.

We love staying here! The host's are welcoming and accommodating! This was our second stay and we are preparing to book again. The space is beautiful and close to downtown. You can park and walk to everything. Love it! We travel a lot and this space is definitely the nicest and most organized space we have stayed!

Lovely Place

This home away from home was the respite we needed midway through our road trip. The kids enjoyed the play equipment and watching the turtles and the grown-ups enjoyed the relaxation and space. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a wonderful time at the Burdette House! The hosts seem to have thought of everything, not just for the adults but for our kids too. The home was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the little touches like fresh flowers were very thoughtful. We were conveniently located within walking distance or easy drives to so much. We hope to return again and continue exploring beautiful South Dakota.
