Quiet fun cabin!
We loved the atmosphere of the little cabin! Fun to be away from the crowds in a peaceful well kept area. The kids loved being able to run around outside. Over all we were very happy with our stay and plan to come back!
Property was beautiful! Secluded area, owners are very cool people! Surrounded by National Forest, it is a great getaway! We had a lot planned this trip, but soon after arriving we wish we had booked more time to just hang out at the cabin! Can't wait to return!
If you want to escape the noise of the city and sit on the front porch and watch, beautiful horses graze in the most amazing small valley, this place is for you. The hosts are amazing the accommodations historical as well as comfortable and a place that is truly one of my best memories.

This place is a hidden gem!! We really enjoyed the tranquility the place offers. Far enough off the beaten path but within a reasonable distance from all the major attractions. The hosts are the best we’ve ever met. Really good people. Highly recommend!!!

Piece of heaven
Beautiful little cabin, nice and clean, and loved the history of the place. The horses in the pasture added to the ambiance. Enjoyed rocking on the porch and gazing at the views. Owners were super nice and accessible. Hope to return someday!
We loved our stay at this remote cabin but with all the amenities. The cabin was clean and well taken care of. Loved having the wood burning fireplace as it was a little cool during our stay. The hosts, Allen and Elizbeth were wonderful and offered ideas and suggestions of places to go. Centrally located for all the keys spots of Mt Rushmore, Crazy House and Custer State Park. Perfect for a couples get away or a small family. Very picturesque area.
My wife and i came up from Kansas for a little get away . We were so lucky to find this spot. I can't imagine that a better place to stay in the Black Hills exist. This cabin is just perfect. It's tucked back in a private valley with no neighbors. Surrounded by state forest land. Woke up to deer and turkey outside or window every morning. Very peaceful and quiet. Cabin is extremely clean and well stocked with everything you may need. We had a wonderful time. We only saw the owners 1 time and that was on our last evening. Which is a shame because they are the nicest people you'll ever meet. If you're coming to the Black Hills make sure this is the spot you choose. You will not be disappointed!!
