Quiet location but still convenient to many attractions. Kitchen was well equipped and the house stayed warm even during some chilly nights. Kathleen communicated clearly and promptly with check in and check out instructions. The Custer State Park annual pass was an unexpected bonus, and we strongly recommend its Needles Highway and Wildlife loop drives for future visitors.

A beautiful unit and an amazing area. Easy access to some of the unique, not to be missed, offerings of the Black Hills. The kitchen was set up nice. We couldn't find a lighter for the outdoor gas fireplace. An upgrade to the gas fireplace would be the only suggested improvement. Thank you for an amazing experience!

This was our fourth time staying in the Tender Creek Cabin and has become like a second home to my family! Even after an incredible day hiking and exploring the Black Hills or Wind Cave, or doing any number of exciting things, we always look forward to getting back to ‘The Cabin’ to relax. We love sitting on the open porch or down by the fire pit. Our daughter (who would never leave the cabin if we didn’t make her), loves jumping the little creek and exploring the woods around it. Deer and birds can been seen in the morning and evening. The stars are incredible if you venture out at night. Kathleen is always a quick text or phone call away and while we’ve only ever had minor questions, she resolves them swiftly! We love this cabin and will absolutely continue to book it!

Great 2 br cabin. We only needed one br but it was priced well enough for us as a 2 br. The interior is very nice - well stocked kitchen and a great comfortable cabin.

The cabin was perfect for my husband and me. Very cozy, and clean. We loved watching deer come down from the hill outside the dining room and drink out of the stream. The outside fire pit and grill worked great. The spot was closer to the highway than what we expected, but tucked down to where we didn’t see much for traffic, but could definitely hear it. Beautiful accommodations.
