Large one bedroom 800 sq. ft. upstairs apartment in the middle of the beautiful Black Hills. Extra large bedroom with 2 queen beds, sofa bed in great room--sleeps up to 6. Fully equipped kitchen with full size stove & refrigerator, microwave, slow cooker, coffee maker & toaster. Private building and entrance. Gas & charcoal grills and picnic table. Outdoor fire (as permitted). Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, good cell phone reception, satellite TV and DVD player.

Quiet location in wooded mountains bordering Forest Service property. Enjoy wildlife outside your bedroom window. Two miles NW of Custer. Close to Custer State Park, Crazy Horse Monument, Mt Rushmore, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument and more.

Beautiful location. Lovely apartment to return to after a day of exploring and hiking. Linda and Gary are kind and answered all our questions. The Black Hills and Badlands are breathtaking. Hope to return again soon.

Spring Break

My husband, son and I had a fantastic week in Custer. This location is perfect and Linda was readily available and always very helpful. Our first time to South Dakota was beautiful and fun!

Our Trip

The rental property was excellent and perfectly located for all possible outings. Centrally located for day trips to The Badlands, Devils Tower, Spearfish, Belle Fourche, Deadwood and all the local sites like Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, and the caves.

Great place to stay

This property was easy to get to. It was clean and had everything's we needed. Children (7and 9) enjoyed the side yard to play and board games inside when it was cold. Highly recommend!

Great area to hike

The perfect spot for our fall getaway!!

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at this property. It was our second visit here as we had stayed here several years ago. We had lots of space for the two of us, comfortable beds and a kitchen to bring or make meals at the rental unit. It was also so close to all of the attractions we wanted to visit. The Laramie Bluffs Mountain Getaway was perfect for our fall “leaf peeping” getaway! Thank you Gary & Linda Fellows!!

Pleasant stay in a beautiful area!

This was our first time renting with vrbo, and it was a great experience. Our hosts were very promt in answering any questions we had before our arrival. They were also very welcoming upon our arrival, and even let our grandson borrow some fishing poles! The apartment was cute and clean with many amenities, the and the property is beautiful with the mountain view. We had a great vacation, and a great vrbo experience.

Great quiet location with close access to major sites

We came for five days to explore the area with our teenagers. The accommodations had everything that was advertised - very clean, welcoming, with many little thoughtful touches to enhance our stay. The property itself is beautiful nestled in an area to explore, we enjoyed nights and s’mores by a fire pit (wood provided), gas grill, and everything we needed for a a few meals in.

Fantastic time

We loved our visit! Property was beautiful and we were close enough to get to any of the sites, parks, etc that we wanted to visit. We loved being just outside of town to have quiet nights and enjoy time on the patio. The living space was perfect for us for our visit. Allowed flexibility for meals too!

Cute apartment with many amenities

We had a wonderful time here. My littles loved hiking in the back and I enjoyed the beautiful flower gardens. It was very clean with many amenities. The owners are very pleasant, as well. We had a wonderful time here.

Cozy place close enough yet far enough away.

Gary and Linda were gracious hosts and the cottage was perfect. The only issue we had was we did not realize it was above a garage. It did not cause us any major issues but stairs can sometimes be a problem.

Gary and I (Linda) have lived on this little piece of paradise since 2009. The vacation rental was our first home. We love to hike the surrounding area including old mines The scenery is breathtaking and the wildlife includes deer, elk, and turkey. Every day is like being on vacation.
