2 bedroom 1 bathroom vacation cabin with your comfort and convenience in mind. Totally renovated interior with vaulted ceilings and a brand new kitchen, 50" HD TV, hot tub & outdoor grilling area on covered patio with direct access to the Mickelson Trail for biking and hiking in the summer and close to miles and miles of trails form snowmobiling in the winter! Property is located on Laughing Water Creek and is centrally located in the Black Hills so that you can enjoy all that the Hills have to offer! Sit back and relax with full laundry facilities and a completely modern kitchen for your convenience when you're not out taking in the sites and having fun. Summer or Winter there are lots of things to do in the Black Hills for your enjoyment and this is a great place to set up camp for all the fun!

We had a great time staying here. The beds were very comfortable. We ate most of our meals out, but the kitchen was well equipped for any appliance we could have needed. Every single day we saw wildlife. We can't wait to come back to Custer!

Cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. It is in a quiet location several blocks away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Custer is a very nice town that has a little bit of everything and we found it to be less than 20 minute drive to just about everywhere we wanted to go in the hills. The owner was responsive and check in was simple.

Family vacation

Enjoyed our trip to the Black Hills. This property was perfect for our small family and centrally located to our activities. Stayed over the 4th of July and had a great view of the city’s fireworks from the driveway!

Property worked well for our family of three - well equipped and great location close to all the things we wanted to visit but also very peaceful. Loved watching the deer from the patio and vultures coming into roost.

What a great place to stay. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of room for my family of 4. The hot tub was amazing and we really enjoyed spending time in it in the evenings.

Go to Lynn's Super Valu and buy a Choice Ribeye and cook it on the wonderful grill at this property. There is some magic there!

Home is in a geat location to visit all of the parks, attactions and monuments. AC works quietly and kept us comfortable (we did leave the bedroom doors open at night). Home is well supplied.

We stayed at Creekside for a week and would go back in a heartbeat. The cabin had everything we needed to make food and prepare for everything that we did. It was also very comfortable for the day we spent inside due to rain. The location is great in Custer. Close to many attractions, hiking trails, and restaurants but still quit and peaceful.

Great Get-away & Great Location

Super clean - super maintained - super location. What a great Thanksgiving weekend we had touring Crazy Horse, Mt Rushmore & the quaint local towns. We enjoyed our coffee in the hot tub each morning & roasting marshmallows in the fire pit in the evening. We hope there will be an open weekend this summer for our next trip to SD.

Excellent home!

We were in Custer for 3 days to explore the region and found this house which was perfect for our family of 4. House is located on a quiet road but very close to downtown and close to everything in the area yiu want to see from Rusgmore to Crazy Horse to Custer state park. Check in was easy and seamless, house was clean and updated and had everything we needed!

For many years we have loved the Custer SD area and, when we got the opportunity to purchase our vacation home, Laughing Water Cabin, we jumped at the chance! We purchased it as a family and we love to share it with others when we can't be there to enjoy it ourselves.

What makes this property unique

We found our vacation home one day as we were hiking the Mickelson Trail. It was situated in a nice quiet little area with deer and wild turkeys roaming about. Once we took a look at the inside of the house we were sold! It's located close to anything you need to do in town and centrally located in the Black Hills so that you can enjoy ALL the Black Hills have to offer!
