Located in the popular Trailside community at Okemo Mountain Resort, this home sits only 400 yards from the ski trail - but the shuttle service makes it quick and easy to get to and from it. While here, you'll enjoy a vertical drop of 2,200 feet, 20 lifts, and 121 trails, slopes, and glades. The heart of downtown Ludlow is just over two miles east as well. There, you'll find scenic parks to explore and numerous local restaurants to sample before heading back.

At the end of a day of winter sports, you'll be welcomed home by a spacious open-concept living area boasting an abundance of natural light. Warm up on the couch and relax watching your favorite streaming service on the TV. For another way to unwind, soothe any aching muscles in your own private sauna. After that, have the group chef whip something up in the well-equipped kitchen, then indulge together at the dining table. Even better, if the weather permits, enjoy the meal alfresco on the beautiful outdoor deck while the crisp Vermont air brushes against your face. As evening approaches, play a board game together or snag one of the books downstairs for a good read before blissfully drifting off to sleep in one of the plush beds.

The property was very convenient for skiing, shuttle was very near and fast. Very nice unit. Only suggestion would be to have better pots and pans (no teflon, especially scrached) and new carpeting. All else was great.

Fun Ski Weekend

This is a nice condo a short hike or a short shuttle ride to the slopes. It is warm, comfortable, well appointed and plenty of room for our group.

Nothing works!

For those looking for a cozy winter getaway, be aware that the fireplace and jacuzzi are not working and the wifi is not fast enough to stream video. The location is great for skiing at Okemo. It’s a short walk to the slopes (runs off the Sachem chair), and a short drive down the mountain to tons of amenities. Just do t get your hopes up for cozy fires and baths. That said, the sauna works and that is a nice feature.

Spacious Condo with Fast and Convenient Shuttle to Ski Trails

Condo was spacious and well-equipped. Amazing views from back porch of valley, mountains, and town. No need to worry about walking to the slopes, although you could - there is shuttle dedicated to the Trailside Condos that will come on demand and take you to the short trip to Sachem trail access. Ski back to that spot and the shuttle is usually waiting there to take you home. We barely waited at all.

Spacious, super clean, great beds. We were 10 people and the home accommodates really well. The short shuttle ride to the top of Sachem was super easy and always arrives quickly. The Sachem lift was closed on one of the days, making it a little tricky to make it back home (other options home involved Blue trails which were still challenging for my little one - but doable, wouldnt be an issue if they were more experienced skiers). Certainly consider staying here again. The inclusion of an outdoor grill on the wrap around porch would be a plus (suggestion for next time ;)

Great slope access, comfy and thoughtfully appointed

Location is awesome - beautiful view w very short shuttle or walk to Sachem. Shuttle came within minutes, several times it was sitting waiting and we hopped right on. Sachem trail is beautiful and my 6 year old could do it, though lift doesn’t run some weekdays. You can also access shuttle pick up from blue trails. Kitchen was well stocked, stove heated quickly, spices and Saran Wrap a nice perk!! Loved the big mudroom with tons of hooks and glove dryer. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and found all the beds very comfy. For those with very small kids - the floors do squeak and 3 of the bedrooms are downstairs. For light sleepers, this would be tricky.

Fine. Could have been great.

The location of this unit is fantastic - there is a shuttle right from the front door to Sachem trail and back. Unfortunately the positives stop there. Unit was pretty outdated and there was no real effort to make this a comfortable stay for guests. communication with the host was horrible and basically non-existent. The reservation was booked through VRBO, but all info came from Vacasa & required me to get a separate app to be able to get info. Issues were raised at start but never addressed. Many of dishes and floors were visibly dirty and needed to be cleaned. On arrival the unit was freezing and the thermostat was set to 55 on each floor and took quite a while to finally warm up once we turned the heat on - not how we wanted to arrive during a snow storm w/ children. Only after arrival did we see in the Vacasa app (and only the Vacasa app) that the bathtub upstairs was not useable. This was never conveyed at any point before and when I reached out about it I was told via text the bathroom was "not included in my amenities". None the TVs except the living room tv worked and I never got a response when I asked about this. All the bath towels are comically small and the pillows and comforters were all stained and yellowing. Kitchen supplies were fine but missing some obvious stuff (like cookie sheet) and overstuffed with decorative bowls and dishes. Just not practically supplied. We were only given 3 dishwasher pods and one roll of paper towels for a week long stay..

Great location

It was so easy to take the private shuttle less than a minute to mountain. The house was very clean, great open space, huge deck! Short drive into town. Sauna was a great addition. There is a huge jacuzzi tub in master bathroom that wasn’t working when we stayed, but would have been amazing to have that.

Okemo first timers

The property was very spacious. The photos acutely depict the priority amenities, layout and kitchen was well equipped! The shuttle was on point!!! The shuttle driver was very kind. We were very grateful for the shuttle driver who drove down to Clock Tower base when Sachem lift was down to pick up one of our party to grab a car to transport our group back to the property.

Great location and layout with only one (resolvable) issue!

This is the second time we rented Trailside 40C. We would rent again. The condo is roomy and well laid out. The location is great for skiing and the shuttle comes in a timely manner. The kitchen is well equipped. The cleaning service did a great job and the beds were comfortable. The only issue that was a problem for us was the WiFi. It was unusably slow. We did a speed test several times and tried rebooting the router. It was so slow (like an old dial up modem) that we were forced to use hot spots from our phones to check email etc. We also were not able to use streaming services like Netflix etc. We hope the owners address this so we can rent again!
