Peaceful and Relaxing
Very nice, quiet and comfortable. Easy access to the lake. Parking is a little cramped for 3 cottages but rest of property is very spacious. Cottage was well stocked with kitchen necessities and games and books, etc.

2/10 Terrible

Misreprented and overpriced
This was an extremely challenging/depressing experience...because it was supposed to be a vacation and not a hassle. We scheduled a working vacation and the ad said there was wifi....which actually was a modem shared by 3 different properties and the only spot in which I could get one bar was in the middle of the yard because the modem was in a different property. I had to cancel most of the appointments I had scheduled due to this. There were multiple other challenges: a front Door lock that did not work so we could not leave front door locked while away, and this property is not actually waterfront, rather water adjacent. We had to walk through other properties yards to be waterfront. The cottage had an over powering mold smell, and multiple points of disrepair (ceiling and floor on need of replacement due to holes and sagging). All these points being considered, specifically no internet, cell phone access (which caused me to force cancel 8 appointments) and even while asking for assistance on the multiple issues over and over and being told it was the weekend and there was not much that could be done. We reserved a weekend, so I guess that made it so that we were out of luck. Emails asking for a refund were ignored completely, even a month later I have not received a response. Considering all these challenges that obliterated any kind of vacation mood, I don't see how this property can be priced at the current price range. If this was a budget, last minute rental I would understand. Too bad!

Nice Lake Camp
I will actually go 3.5 stars but not an option. My 2 biggest issues with Camp #3, it is not right on the water front but sits back a couple hundred feet between the other two Camps which are water front. If you look at the pictures in the “tour” in picture 19, it is not the camp you see off to the side of the shared water front area which seems a little deceptive. Picture 11 gives you an idea where the camp actually sits, if you enlarge the picture and look out thru the windows. Not having AC was not an issue, but the fact that we could not open half the windows due to no, or ripped screens was an issue. Wi-Fi is spotty at best, appears the 3 camps share one router. Its nice to be able to get away and disconnect, but you might want to have done your local research prior to arriving. Pluses are that the camp was clean, and they provided plenty of towels. Furniture was in good condition and comfortable. Beautiful location, and we were blessed with having good people in the other camps. Kayaks, waterboards, and a Canoe life Jackers and other water accessories are provided. I grew up vacationing in Vermont in Lake Camps so if you know what to expect you will have few issues. There is a 2nd bath/powder room in the one bedroom we jokingly referred to as a Water Closet as it is quite small, with low water pressure, but is a perk if the other one is tied up. Lake is clean and swimmable shallow area off the docs good for children. As mentioned in another review there are some weeds. We had no issues with the refrigerator. Fixing some issues could easily increae the rating..

Experience was ok...
This cottage #3 is not lakefront. Cottages #1 and #2 are. FYI if you need to change dates, even 1 day, the management company will not let you if its within 30 days, even though the date was open. We found that the grill was not in use and we had to use the grill of cottage #1 and #2. So I had to walk down a hill to grill my food. The cottage is a cottage. No air-conditioner and when its hot, bring extra fans. the cottage did not have adequate fans for the hot weather. At night, it was so hot in the cottage to sleep. The cottage was clean and beds had clean linens and plenty of towels for showers. The refrigerator is old and took a long time to keep my food cold. I had to put my drinks in the freezer. The lakefront is shared property with the other cottages. The water has rocks and has a lot of weeds. There are docks for your boats etc. The view is stunning from the docks area. This is a great place if you have a lot of family and you rent all 3 cottages. I felt like our family was invading the privacy of the other renters in the other cottages. Again, this is a cottage on a lake and we still had fun.
