About this property
Cabin w/ Sauna · Hot Tub · Mtn Views · 2 Masters
The first thing you notice is the quiet. Then the view: layer after layer of Blue Ridge mountains unfolding past the tree line, glowing gold as the sun slips behind them. You are standing on the wrap-around porch of a three-story black-timber cabin, coffee in hand, and the whole valley feels like it belongs to you. Inside, a wood fire is already crackling. Below, a hot tub steams, a sauna warms, and the theater is cued up. This is where the week finally slows down and everyone exhales at once.
About This Space
Grin and Bear It is a three-story cabin built for togetherness - room for ten across four bedrooms, two full master suites, and a walk-out basement made for late nights. Every floor has its own reason to linger.
MAIN FLOOR - A bright, open living room is anchored by a wood-burning fireplace, big windows framing the ridgeline, and a 65" smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen has stainless appliances, a gas range, and an island with four bar stools. Just off the living room, the main-floor master sleeps two on a brand-new king bed and opens through double doors onto the porch. Its spa-style ensuite pairs a deep soaking tub with dual vanities and a separate walk-in shower. A half bath, pantry, and in-unit washer and dryer complete the level, with a crib and high chair ready for little ones.
UPSTAIRS - The second master suite claims the best views in the house. A king bed faces two private decks - one for sunrise coffee, one for sunset wine - and the ensuite mirrors the main floor with a soaking tub, dual sinks, and a separate shower. Outside it, a sunny loft holds a twin daybed with a pull-out twin trundle.
WALK-OUT BASEMENT - The floor guests rave about. A media room brings a true theater with surround sound, a pool table, arcade games, and a wet bar with a wine fridge. Two more bedrooms sit down here: a queen room and a bunk room with a full bed below and a twin above. A newly upgraded bath features a rainfall shower and a private cedar SAUNA. When muscles are sore from the trails, slip through the french doors to the private hot tub steaming under the stars. Outside, a fire pit, gas grill, and porches on every level keep the mountain air close.
Location & What's Nearby
You are perched on a private mountaintop yet only about 5 minutes and under 2 miles from downtown Blue Ridge - close enough for a dinner run, far enough to feel like the ridge is yours. Best of all, you reach the cabin on paved roads the whole way, not the white-knuckle gravel so many North Georgia rentals require.
- Downtown Blue Ridge shops, galleries & restaurants - ~5 min - Blue Ridge Scenic Railway (historic depot & river-gorge ride) - ~5 min - Mercier Orchards (apples, cider, bakery & u-pick) - ~10 min - Lake Blue Ridge (boating, swimming & marina) - ~15 min - Toccoa River Swinging Bridge (longest of its kind east of the Mississippi) - ~20 min - Aska Adventure Area (miles of hiking & mountain-biking trails) - ~15 min - Blue Ridge wineries (Bear Claw, Serenberry) - ~15-25 min - Fall Branch Falls (short hike to a waterfall) - ~25 min - Ocoee River whitewater rafting - ~40 min - Amicalola Falls State Park (tallest cascade in the Southeast) - ~50 min
Hike, paddle, sip, or rock on the porch - the best of the Blue Ridge Mountains is a short drive away.
Who This Home Is Best For
MULTI-GENERATIONAL FAMILIES - Two king master suites give grandparents and parents their own retreats while the kids claim the loft and bunk room. A crib, high chair, and baby gates make traveling with little ones easy.
COUPLES' GETAWAYS - Two couples can each claim a true master suite with a soaking tub, then reconnect over the hot tub, sauna, and theater.
FRIEND GROUPS & REUNIONS - Sleeping ten with a pool table, arcade, theater, and wet bar, this is the cabin where the group stays up late.
REMOTE-WORK RETREATS - Fast Wifi, a dedicated workspace, and porches with a view let you log a few hours, then step straight into the mountains.
OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS - Hikers and paddlers land here for the trail access, then soak away the miles in the sauna and hot tub.

"The sauna and hot tub were perfect to soothe sore muscles and the peace and quiet of the area was enjoyable. The views were amazing and it was just an overall great place to relax!" - Trevor

"The cabin was beautiful and private, the space was clean, and Brandon and Tiffany were very communicative. We would absolutely book again in the future!" - Regan
Guest Access
The entire home is yours - all three floors, every porch and deck, the hot tub, the sauna, and the media room. Check-in is contactless with a keypad smart lock, so you can arrive on your own schedule with no meetups or key handoffs. Your personal door code is sent within 48 hours of arrival and works for your whole stay. Superhosts Brandon and Tiffany are a quick message away if anything comes up.
Parking
Park with zero stress. There is free parking on the premises for multiple vehicles right at the cabin, plus free street parking nearby if your group rolls in with extra cars. Because the entire approach is paved, you will not be creeping up a steep, rutted gravel road or worrying about ground clearance - a real convenience that sets this cabin apart, especially after dark or in wet weather.
House Rules
We keep the rules simple so everyone can relax. Quiet hours run from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM nightly - the neighborhood strictly enforces this, and any noise complaint carries a $500 fine that would be passed along, so please keep the volume gentle after 10. Well-behaved pets are warmly welcome; just ask us first. Check-in is after 4:00 PM and checkout is by 10:00 AM. Please note we do not host local guests seeking an event or party venue. Firewood is not provided, so plan to bring your own for the fireplace and fire pit - we are happy to share a local supplier.

Lovely cabin with an awesome indoor sauna and that view…..simply amazing! We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Brandon is the best host & his hospitality was much appreciated.
Our family enjoyed our stay so much! Cabin was beautiful, lots of room ,had everything we needed to make our stay perfect! Hosts were awesome! We will be back!
This is not our first trip to Blue Ridge and this homes close proximity to town was very much enjoyed. It is not easy to find a nice mountain cabin with the amenities that this house has, also in a fantastic neighborhood less than 10 minutes to the heart of Blue Ridge, very nice!
no hot water in upstairs master bathroom; terrible communications; owner asked us to winterize the house( not appropriate).

We didn't ask the guest to winterize the house. This is a lie. We asked them to allow a faucet to have a small drip while we had below freezing weather for a couple of nights. With over 15 years of hosting experience, anytime the weather falls below freezing, this is a standard protocol and every guest we speak to when this happens, is happy to drip the water. This guest was not happy to help and was very rude about it as well is making up lies about the water...We have nothing but excellent reviews, so for our future potential guests, please read through the lines. Thank you! Brandon and Tiffany
The property is overall very well taken care of. It had the accommodations we were looking for. The home was cozy and had plenty of space to relax. Wish there would've been more outside lighting on the balconies to enjoy them more, they were very dark. Overall very nice place if you can handle the winding roads to get up to it. Great location only like 10 minutes to downtown.
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin!! We booked last minute on a snow chasing adventure to celebrate my sons 16th birthday. The cabin was beautiful and well equipped. Our family enjoyed putting the puzzle together and playing scrabble.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Good location & property but decks and outside areas poorly maintained
Overall we enjoyed being together with family and friends at this property, however there were some concerns which made our stay just ok instead of amazing
Pros:
Great location 5-10 minutes of the highway with close proximity to all needs
Inside of the house was pretty clean and well maintained
Good set up in the Basement with a pool table and large tv for movies and such.
Cons:
Our biggest concern was that all of the decks and furniture outside were really dirty and unusable. So even though there were multiple decks and areas for sitting, we couldn't even step out there as it was really dirty with thick coats of pollen (even in July) and one couldn't even think of sitting outside to enjoy the greenery. After raising the issue, they sent over a cleaner who came in and sprayed some water all over the deck, but didn't even touch any of the outside furnitures or deck chairs. Needless to say we just couldn't use any of the deck areas or the porch.
Secondly one of the beds is almost 4-5' off the ground (not kidding) and has one step ladder on one side to get on and off the bed. Forget if two people sleep on the bed and the person on other side has to get off the bed.
Lastly, when we asked for cleaning up the decks, the property manager suddenly said we had more people in the house than that was originally mentioned. In fact we did not - we had indicated 7 adults and 4 kids and that is the count we had. I had asked him to come over and take a look any time or check his front door cameras to confirm. Anyways that whole interaction just left a bad taste in our mouth.
Overall our stay was ok, but the outside of the property was not cleaned and well maintained and the interactions with the property manager was not ideal.

Vijay was a great guest overall but unfortunately she complained about the decks being dirty and many other things and tried to get half of her stay for free over such complaints...as a host, we clean and work hard around the clock to give our guests the best of stays in our family's vacation home. To hear that our guest is disheartened breaks our heart...
Unfortunately, but advisably, we are in the mountains and with that being said, GA has had alot of storms lately and alot of debris blew in on the decks the day of their arrival and Vijay acted more like a diva than anything about it.
When she reached out to us, we came by the property to clean the decks immediately like any good host would and then she ranted about wanting her money back; we politely declined as we can't control the weather and acts of God and especially with the bad attitude, there was no way. We cleaned the deck and the decks were fine but the hostility against us as hosts from Vijay was violent.
At the time we arrived, we saw that there were more guests in the property than we allow per our polices and house rules...We didn't say anything immediately but when Vijay pushed for a refund again, we told her she was breaking house rules by having 5 more people than our occupancy allows and she immediately got irate again...
Her unprofessionalism as a guest and her un-responsible claims again, are heartbreaking...
We have had many people stay in our home and have nothing but great reviews across the board...
Amazing stay, all the amenities you could ever need. Relaxing sauna, hot tub, numerous porches to soak in the sun or catch up on a good book. Everything for family time. Enjoy wild turkey, black bears inspecting the new guest. Our kids enjoyed burgers cooked on the grill while sitting by the fire pit. If you decide to leave the home, Blue Ridge down town will give you lots to do. A great stay, we'll be back!
This is a seriously impressive cabin! Lots of thoughtful details throughout makes it feel instantly like home. My wife and I stayed alone, although we could've easily fit another 6 - 8 people & kids. The firepit was well stocked with wood and we lit a couple ragers out there! The hot tub overlooks a lovely valley and more mountains - gorgeous. We watched Netflix - Drive to Survive in the theater room (stocked with POPCORN!) and it was immersive. And my favorite part, a true Finnish-style sauna that gets HOT, complete with water bucket. Amazing, just amazing and we will be back!
