About this property

Splashing Treehouse! Private pool-Hot tub!

-Smart TV in bedrooms (not in pool house anymore)

-Adults and kids will be happy and entertained here!

-Outdoor fire pit with fairy lights



The Space:

Bedroom Layout: We have three master suits with king beds and private bathrooms. 1 on the main floor, and 2 upstairs.

We have a bunk bed set with two full-size mattresses upstairs in a cubby (no doors or anything)

We have two sleeper sofas in the living room (queens)

And one futon (full size) on the main floor as well.



Pool House: The pool house is a separate building but it is a 5-second walk on the back deck to get there. It has plenty of space to relax and play games, but no TV in the pool room as one of our photos shows-we had to take it down due to poor guest behavior :(



Outside: The front porch is a calming place to hang out with a chair swing, or you can go onto the second-level deck for an even more serene sitting experience. We also have a fire pit available for use in the yard, it has fairy lights around it and chairs for sitting, you'll want to bring your own marshmallow roaster though!

Getting Around:

Lots of parking in front of our cabin. Safe quiet neighborhood.

Windy roads to get to cabin, not very steep though. No one has gotten stuck on the way here, so I wouldn’t worry about having 4x4 unless it snowed the day before coming and the snow plows haven’t come through (a VERY rare occurrence)



Other Things to Note:

Please note that we are on well water. It often has a slight coloration and taste to it. This has been tested and is microscopic iron sediment. It has been found to be safe to drink and swim in. You may want to bring bottled water if you are particular about the taste.

The 4th bedroom is the bunk beds on the upstairs landing. Not an enclosed space with a door-just trying to show how many people can sleep here- not trying to trick anyone 🤙🏼

The host Gabriel provided all important information prior to our arrival, which made check-in very easy. The tree fireplace with the bears are a highlight and the harm of the house. The open space makes family gatherings very friendly and cousy.

Expected Better Accommodations for What We Paid

The property location was beautiful, but the property itself was in bad shape. Broken door knobs, a mirror fell off the wall and nearly injured me, no ice maker, TV remote controls didn’t work, bathroom faucets were all loose and rickety, the pool house is a mess and nothing like the picture including missing TV, lack of furniture shown in pictures, and very poor water quality in pool and hot tub. The hot tub was different than the one in the picture and there was no step to get into it. All the maintenance and repairs that have been done on the home are of low quality and it has started to take its toll on the home. There were 14 of us staying there for 6 nights, but there were only linens and towels to accommodate 8. That was quickly taken care of by Gabriel the following day. Now some of the good things: the pool table and tabletop arcade were utilized and greatly enjoyed, the area was beautiful for walks, the kitchen worked out great to cook Thanksgiving dinner, the large log picnic table sat the whole family and we spent a lot of quality time there, we enjoyed the fire pit, and the circle drive accommodate five vehicles without issue. One last thing…this cabin is very loud. With the high ceilings and hard surfaces, noise carries throughout, which makes it hard to sleep if people have different schedules. Doors close loud and are extremely squeaky. We paid a lot of money for this cabin and we left feeling disappointed.

Problems

First poor water pressure taking a bath with a trickle of water. On Saturday absolutely no water. I think I paid a high price for that inconvenience. We could not even flush the toilets Or take showers. The first day we filled a bath tub upstairs and the roof in the kitchen started leaking.
