This place is immaculate and cozy, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway for us. The location is fantastic, and we had a blast staying here over the July 4th weekend.
Really appreciated the home being well stocked with things like fans, noise maker, games, seasonings ect.Nice owners. Beautiful place.Would definitely stay again.
What a great find! This place was a great value - good location, price, condition. Our family was pleased with all the comforts of home this lovely space provided and will stay again if we find ourselves in the area. Just 15 minutes or less from the GNP West Entrance and a restaurant, gift shop and arcade within walking distance (one top of the pool, AC, full kitchen) were all great for our family.
Beargrass Lodge was a great place to stay. All the grounds were well kept. The new fourplex were we stayed were beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back.

The place was great.. clean and plenty of room for our family. One thing I would suggest since it is only 1 bath, would be a mirror outside. The owners were very nice!

Why they chose this property
History of Hungry Horse, Montana Hungry Horse, Montana, has a rich history tied to the construction of the Hungry Horse Dam. The dam was authorized by Congress in 1944 and construction began in earnest in 1947. The town was named after two horses, Tex and Jerry, that escaped during a severe winter and were found almost starved in deep snow. The name Hungry Horse stuck, and the community has since grown around the dam, which is now a significant tourist attraction. The dam's construction provided hydroelectric power and flood control, and the town has since become a popular destination for visitors to Glacier
