We have a long family history of living and adventuring in the West Glacier area. Our family owns and operates several vacation rentals in the area. Instead of a management company, we manage our own properties allowing us to give the extra care and attention to each property. Hungry Horse, Montana, has a rich history tied to the construction of the Hungry Horse Dam. The dam was authorized by Congress in 1944 and construction began in earnest in 1947. The town was named after two horses, Tex and Jerry, that escaped during a severe winter and were found almost starved in deep snow. The name Hungry Horse stuck, and the community has since grown around the dam, which is now a significant tourist attraction. The dam's construction provided hydroelectric power and flood control, and the town has since become a popular destination for visitors to Glacier
