My family (4 adults and 3 children between 9 & 14) had a wonderful time at this villa. Hubert & Martine were there when we needed them and left us alone the rest of the time. They made a great dining suggestion for our first night (Les Tilleuls) and we were plunged straight into island life from that moment. They very kindly provided a starter breakfast for our first morning.The villa had everything we needed and plenty more. The kitchen had every conceivable gadget and generous quantities of cooking ingredients – more than any other property I have rented. In addition to a large dining room, there was a big, covered outside eating area by the barbeques (note the plural). The pool was beautiful and the children were hardly ever out of it. When it all got too raucous, I was able to take a 4-minute walk to the local beach, which was wild, peaceful and usually deserted.The bedrooms (which are a modest size) and bathrooms are organised into 3 groups around the property, which allows for a high degree of privacy and differing sleeping patterns.There is plenty of space for parking outside the property. Sainte-Marie-de-Re and La Flotte are both within easy driving distance. There are several supermarkets and fresh food shops close by but a car is necessary if you intend to do a lot of cooking at the villa.My family would not hesitate to book another stay at the villa.
