Great family vacation

The property was amazing for my group. Having a pool on property with the heat during our stay was fantastic. There were so many amentities and activities available, all of the adults and kids enjoyed, there was something for everyone. We will definitely be requesting to rent for all of our summer stays going forward. Fantastic property and very attentive and communicative host.

We booked Cozy Cabin for a family wedding near Tish Tang Campground. It comfortably fit our party of seven, and our grandkids loved the game room's arcade games, shuffleboard, and foosball. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of linens were provided, the appliances worked perfectly, and the host was highly responsive. The listing notes no closets or other space for clothing available, so we lived out of suitcases. A few areas need attention:* Exercise extra caution at the raised entry landing. Its curved edge narrows beside the wall before steps lead to the living room. Because the landing, steps, and lower floor share similar brown carpeting, the edge is difficult to see in evening shadows. A guest stepped backward and fell off this narrow corner. Luckily, a soft chair broke the fall. A railing or contrasting edge markings are urgently needed here to prevent future falls.* Not recommended for guests who prefer firmer mattresses. The primary king bed features a memory foam mattress and topper that we found too soft & uncomfortably deep. The cabin's queen bed was similarly soft. At checkout prep, we found 2 pillows were stained.* Primary AC is quite loud. Opening windows worked in the early autumn weather, though neighborhood dogs barked and howled late in the evening and early in the morning.* Kitchen nonstick pans are heavily scratched and need replacement, * One of the slot machines had an out-of-order sign; the other required 25 to use & darts need replacement.

Thank you for your response. Im sorry to hear you had a hard time distinguishing the one step down to the sunken living room. We have never had a fall or an issue in the 7 years we've been operating so thank you for the feedback. When renting really pay attention to the information provided, if steps and no closets were a factor for you it may not have been a good fit to begin with. We advertise for what we are... a little cabin in the woods, nothing fancy but enjoyable!

Great amenities

We had a great stay and will visit again. In range for coast and redwoods day trips, plenty of options in the area to swim, hike, fish, float, etc. The kitchen has plenty of dishes for cooking a proper meal when you bring back goodies from the coast. Don't miss the abundant blackberries in the area if you are visiting in summer.

A cozy cabin for a nice and fun getaway

This lovely cozy cabin was perfect for our long weekend getaway. Located in Willow Creek just a couple of miles from Main Street and Trinity River. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed: comfy bedrooms with ac units, clean bathrooms with nice towels and well equipped kitchen with Keuring coffee machine, slushie machine and spacious fridge. We could prepare our own meals or go to town for pizza. There is a fun playroom downstairs with foosball table, video arcade game machine and dart game. Lots of entertainment for everyone. We especially enjoyed the backyard and pool area. The decor and set up gave us a comfortable and relaxing “vacation” feeling. The upper deck has a nice gazebo with dining table and a lovey large comfy sitting area with table fire pit. Perfect for relaxing evenings. The lower are has a spacious pool area with lounge chairs and umbrellas and another gazebo with a sitting area. Lots of spaces to take a relaxing break from socializing. The pool is well taken care of and the host provides a variety of pool toys and nice lounge floats. There are also outdoor games like connect four and axe throwing game. It’s a great outdoor playground and the host truly thought about everything. And the decor is fun! Even thought the house is located in residential area it is quiet and there is plenty of privacy. We felt very comfortable between morning hikes along the river to hot afternoons in the pool and relaxing evenings by the fire pit we felt on vacation.

Peaceful stay

We enjoyed our stay. The outside area wasn’t cleaned prior to us arriving so there was a lot of debris all over the decks, tables ,chairs and in the pool. There are alot of trees so it’s a given that debri is expected. Over all we had a great vacation and it was so quiet and peaceful. Colleen was very responsive and helpful when I need to contact her.

Beautifully quiet

This home was very welcoming. It had beautiful decor and had a homey feel. We all had fun in the pool and game room. We had a relaxing time and would recommend staying here.

Cozy cabin!

Property was very nice for a relaxing weekend. Takes a while to warm it up when you first get there, but after that it was great! Has everything we needed and the host was very easy to communicate with.
