About this property

Welcome to Holly Hill – peaceful lakefront living

Make lifelong memories at this private lakefront getaway with 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8).

Features beautiful lake views, a large open lot with mature trees, and a fenced yard at the end of a quiet road. You’ll love rocking on the porch with your morning coffee and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit in the evening.

Private dock will accommodate your boat, or rent one from a local marina.

We are pet friendly and welcome up to 2 dogs with a $100 pet fee per stay. We occasionally make exceptions with an additional security deposit. They will love the large, securely fenced yard.

Sleeping arrangements – 4 bedrooms, first floor master with king, 1 king upstairs, 1 full, and 1 trundle bed (2 twins). Linens included. Wi-fi throughout, and TVs in the downstairs bedroom, living room, and two bedrooms upstairs. All TVs are set in Roku guest mode.

Ample parking.

Quiet west side of lake, 35 minutes from CLT.

No events or overnight guests beyond max occupancy.

A storybook setting close to the city! We stayed the weekend with our 2 dogs to be close to my son’s wedding venue. It was the perfect place for calm throughout the wedding weekend. Beautiful setting, large dog friendly, CLEAN, and just perfect! Owner was super friendly and worked with our requests. Would go again in a heartbeat!

Enjoyed staying here for 4 nights. The home and lake view were great. The home was very clean upon arrival and had a well equipped kitchen as well as numerous beach towels and linens. Internet access password was provided and lots of TVs throughout with Roku. It was also a great property for our Golden retriever as the back yard was totally fenced in. A renters notebook provided lots of information on area restaurants and places to visit. A few nice restaurants and boat rental, Lake Effects, are only about 15 to 20 minutes from the property. A drive to Davidson historic area was about 35 minutes. We hoped to use the kyacks but a sloped rock bed exists along the water with no easy access for them. A rope perhaps tied to the front of each may have helped using them from the dock.

Perfectly peaceful and what a view!

Absolutely beautiful setting to relax and unwind. The house was quite comfortable and had everything we needed - and sitting on the front porch watching bald eagles, osprey and blue heron - felt like paradise!

Lake home the whole family enjoyed

Lovely home with modern amenities and lake cabin charm. Family enjoyed the lake fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Family dog liked the fenced backyard. Spent time on the porch looking out on the lake each morning and campfires in the evening.

Wonderful Birthday Weekend

AWESOME CABIN ON THE LAKE

This a beautiful, cozy cabin right on the lake. The large secure fenced yard is incredible for the pups. They loved it and so did we! The owners are wonderful & very good communicators. We will be back!!!

Can’t beat the view

Just spent 5 days at Holly Hill. It is a comfortable log home, very well equipped. The views are epic and our dogs loved being out in the fenced yard watching the boats and ducks. I recommend going north to the Publix, brand new, also the barbecue place up in the same area. Easy check in and out.

Our stay at this beautiful lakeside home was nothing but amazing. The location is on a quiet, tranquil street with very little traffic. The house was just as described in the listing, full of every amenity you could possibly need in a vacation rental. Holly Hill was spotless, well maintained and lovingly cared for as was obvious in every detail. We chose this home because of the close proximity for our nieces wedding in Iron Station. After 5 days of enjoying the lakefront porch, watching and listening to the variety of birds on the lake, we were sad to leave Holly Hill is a perfect, relaxing, and enjoyable vacation home and we look forward to renting it again. The host was extremely communicative with all inquiries. Although we did not have a dog with us, our golden retriever stayed at home this trip, this home and yard is perfect for your 4 legged friends. The yard facing the lake is fenced in.

Relaxing
