Perfect

We had a wonderful stay a Grandview Farm. The home is exceptionally equipped and was very clean. The beds were all comfortable. The keurig coffee maker in the bedroom was a nice touch. My granddaughters (7yrs 3yrs) really enjoyed the small playground. Jeff really goes the extra mile. The location is beautiful! Yet, it is an easy access from the main highway. Friday night we enjoyed the Grandview Winery just across the road, for a bite to eat and a little music. I highly recommend the Grandview Farm.

Magical farmhouse stay!

Our large family (8 adults, 4 kids, 3 babies) stayed here for a weekend and we had a blast. The pool was heated and just lovely. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and the kids loved exploring the property. Would love to come back!!

Absolutely stunning

Had a family reunion and it was such a marvelous and relaxing place to stay. So much room for a large family to be together. The peace and beauty of the house and surroundings were wonderful. We truly enjoyed being there and wish we could have stayed longer.

So we were in town quick for a funeral and we’re absolutely blown away by this amazing property.

I have never seen a property so stocked with amenities and decorations. I am planning to get a group together so I can come back and enjoy the breathtaking property for at least a week!

Outstanding location for a multi-generational family vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation: Two parents, three children with spouses/significant others, and four grandchildren (7½, 7, 4½, 2). The kitchen is well-stocked allowing us to prepare dinners on most nights (we elected to eat out a couple of times). Especially attractive and very much appreciated by our two older children and SO's is the separate guest house so they could avoid the early wake-up of the grandchildren. The location is great with most popular attractions only about a thirty-minute drive away through spectacular rural landscapes. The host was very responsive to questions that came up along the way.

Bucolic getaway

The setting is hard to beat. Peaceful and quiet with views that go on forever. Lots of outdoor space for a big family gathering. The kitchen is super well equipped and functioned extremely well. Extremely comfortable!! The owner was wonderfully responsive and accomdodateing. We are already talking about nexts year!!

This place is magic

I organized a surprise get-together for my boyfriend's 50th birthday, and friends came in from all over to stay the weekend. We were blown away by the craftsmanship and detail of the place, and we spent the whole winter weekend traveling room-to-room just to take it all in - from the fireplaces, the living spaces, the cellar, the arcade, and the whole farm - we will never be the same after staying at Grandview Farm. Jeff and Sarah were impeccable hosts, and we hope to return often!

Beautiful, relaxing stay

We stayed at Grandview farm for a family vacation (3 generations, 5 locations), and we loved the place! The setting is relaxing and beautiful, with acres of rolling hills and Adirondack chairs in just the right spots for sitting by the pond or watching sunset and fireflies. We cooked nightly dinners in the well-equipped kitchen, spent hours by the pool and hot tub, and made s'mores by the firepit on the carriage house deck. And everyone learned pickleball! We felt little need to leave except to pick up people at the Mount Joy Amtrak station or get groceries, both of which are an easy ten minutes from the farm. All in all, a lovely place and we hope to visit again!

Breathtaking and peaceful

This property has so much to offer. I want to come back for a retreat like stay. I only wished we had a day or two more. Absolutley lovely and high end detaila throughout this property. Coffee game is beyond anything I have seen! Kitchen is really well equipped and plenty of conveniences. 2 ovens!!! Hosts did an incredible job communicating. They offer comprehensive info for property and area around. Wonderful stay - would come again in a heartbeat.

The perfect luxury getaway for our family!

Lancaster County at its most beautiful. The main building and adjacent one, located on a sprawling property, with amazing views, comfortably accommodated my family-3 generations of 8 adults and 6 children. It’s ‘luxury without fuss,’ tastefully decorated and beautifully maintained. The kitchen of the main house is grand, with high ceilings, table & chairs, fireplace, pantries, coffee bar, and enough room for us all. We cook and bake! The grand dining room includes a long table that seats 12, and an extra small table was provided for the two younger children. Artifacts from yesteryear can be found everywhere in both houses, and the artwork (paintings) is lovely. Beds are super comfy, bathrooms elegant, and tvs everywhere. Tv room off dining room and another adjacent room for games, toys, reading etc. Bedrooms, bathrooms and suites on second and third floors. The pool provided endless fun during the heat wave, and the large poolside umbrellas were welcome. Pickleball and fishing in the pond on property were fun, too. The arcade room kept my grandchildren, ages 3 to 23, busy, as well. The upstairs of the smaller carriage house includes a wet bar, modern kitchen, 2 bedrooms, full bath, and French doors opening to a deck with fire pit. We had a dance party in there on our last night, thanks to Sonos which was provided. More space for sleeping on the first floor, and a bathroom. The Usner family are excellent hosts and The Grandview Farm gave us a vacation home away from home, twice.

Incredible Property - Made better by amazing hosts

If you are considering staying here, do not hesitate! The house, the location, and the hospitality exceeded our high expectations. We arrived with 5 kids (aged 2-13), 5 adults, for an early June family vacation. The house has so much character, is incredibly clean, has a ton of amenities (high quality appliances, speakers in every room, espresso machine, EV car charger, plenty of towels for the pool and bathrooms), and so many fun activities on the property (arcade - kids favorite!, pool, golf, cows)! There is so much to do around this house as well. We enjoyed 2 visits to Hersheypark, made our own ice cream at the Turkey Hill Experience, visited the Eastland Alpacas, enjoyed the butterflies and kid zone at Hershey Gardens, Go 'N Bananas Family Fun Center on a rainy day, and a great Hershey Bears hockey game at the GIANT Center. A special call-out to Jeff and the property management team. They provided us great local recommendations, fresh eggs from the farm daily, access to delicious grass-fed beef, and most importantly, they were extremely responsive to any needs/concerns we had throughout the stay (eg, making the pool a bit warmer). We would definitely come back for a future family getaway!

Perfect peaceful getaway for the whole family

Our entire family from ages 2 to 75 had such a fantastic time at this property. There was so much to do and so much fun to be had. All the rooms were extremely comfortable and the house and the property itself are gorgeous. The view is beautiful at all hours of the day!

What a wonderful property! Pictures and words just can't do the experience justice. We have rented quite a few "special" houses for our extended family of 15 get togethers and this one topped them all! Best stocked (2) kitchens we have ever seen with loads of dishes and silverware to easily serve a crowd. Stacks of clean fluffy beach towels and lots of equipment for the outdoor activities. Large relatively flat yard for getting up a game of wiffle ball or kickball. Biggest negative was having to drag the grandkids out of the arcade! We're usually a stay once and move on to another but will definitely keep this one on the list to return. Many thanks to Jeff and family!

What a wonderful place to spend your vacation! There’s always something to do right on the property, if you don’t want to go any place else. There’s a pool with hot tub, pickleball court, a little pond with kayaks, and the hit of them all, an arcade room! It is such a beautiful historic home with a guest house right next to it. All of the land around it was so peaceful. Also, the owners are very quick to respond if you have a question. They go over and above to make you have the best experience vacationing at one of their properties. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Family vacation

Quiet farm setting with lots of space both indoors and outdoors. Plenty to do on-site and within a reasonable, short drive. The few items that needed attention in the houses were dealt with promptly. The property manager was very responsive, friendly and easy to deal with.
