About this property

Your cottage by the Sea, 150 meters from the Water

If you have ever dreamed of having your own cottage by the sea, let your dreams become a reality and be our guests at the English Cottage. This 46m2 fisherman's cottage has been lovingly restored and awaits your visit. On the ground floor, a full kitchen and dining area overlooks the garden, where the children (and adults!) can play on the trampoline . There is an outdoor area where you can grill and eat outside.

Upstairs, there is a 160x200 cm double bed (that can be adjusted with the press of a button to sit up while reading/watching TV, nurse a baby, or rest your weary legs), a sofabed (140x190, sleeps 2), a writing desk and chair, and an internet-ready TV. There is a large children's playroom (sleeps 2-3) which is just 160cm high (there is no separating door) but can be used by adventurous adults as well. There are toys, books and wifi for you to enjoy your vacation to the max. We even have a washing machine for you. Beach towels, beach toys and toiletries are already waiting for you.

Haüßchen nah am Hafen

Die Lage ist super, das kleine Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Im Garten kann man die Sonne und auch den Ausblick genießen. In wenigen Minuten kommt man zu Fuß zum Hafen mit Fähranleger und zum Strand. (Mit der Fähre sind sowohl die Kieler Innenstadt (auch Bahnhof) als auch andere Orte auf beiden Seiten der Förde erreichbar.)

Ein kleiner Traum in Heikendorf

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Wohnung besteht aus zwei Etagen unten helles schönes Bad mit ebener Dusche und Küche mit Sitzplatz für vier. Oben mit einen offenen Bereich mit Doppelbett und Couch und Räuberhöhle (Kinderzimmer) für die kleinen. Die Couch kann auch als Bett hergerichtet werden und ist sehr bequem. Die Ausstattung ist sehr modern. Rund um wahren wir sehr zufrieden. Die Vermieter haben sich sehr viel Mühe mit diesem Objekt gegeben was sich in den kleinen Details wiederspiegelt ! In ca 5min ist die Promenade von Heikendorf erreichbar und in ca 30min die Promenade von Laboe (zu Fuß). Gerne wieder!

Ein Wochenende an der Förde

Es hat alles toll geklappt, Grace kümmert sich toll um ihre Gäste und es bleiben keine Wünsche offen in dem Sommerdomizil :) eine sehr schöne, saubere und gut ausgestattete Möglichkeit nah am Wasser zu genießen. Danke Grace

Gemütlich und authentisch

Als Gäste fühlten wir uns sehr willkommen! Wir bewohnten das kleine Haus zu zweit und fühlten uns in der gemütlichen Wohnküche sehr wohl, es fehlte dort an nichts. Das Badezmmer ist relativ klein aber oho, und blitzeblank! Die Betten im Schlafzimmer fanden wir sehr bequem. Für das dort befindliche Sofa hätten wir, für einen längeren Aufenthalt, theoretisch eine Leselampe gebrauchen können. Die Vermieterin ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Nähe zum Hafen und Strand ( fußläufig) ist sehr angenehm.

Lovely property in great location

We spent a lovely time at the property, which is in an ideal location for access to the beach and the town of Heikendorf. The ferry across to Kiel is also a short walk from the property. The facilities at the property are excellent, everything we needed with a small family. The children particularly enjoyed their stay. We would highly recommend the property to anybody staying in the area.

We had a great stay! The house is located in a small cozy town close to the beach and harbour and shops without walking distance. The house is newly renovated and has everything you'll need. Grace and her family were great hosts and extremely helpful. Would absolutely recommend a stay. Anders

Schönes Ferienhaus in Hafennähe

Schön eingerichtetes Ferienhaus über zwei Etagen mit einer großzügigen, gut ausgestatteten Küche und einem sehr schönen Bad (mit Waschmaschine). In einem kleinen Außenbereich neben der Wohnung gibt es eine Sitzecke mit Bierzeltgarnitur zum Draußensitzen (und grillen). Für Kinder ist auf dem Rasen vor dem Haus ein Trampolin vorhanden. Die Begrüßung und Betreuung (wie Fahrradausleihe) durch Frau Weidmann waren sehr freundlich und angenehm. Die Lage des Hauses in der Nähe des kleinen, aber wunderschönen Hafens von Heikendorf ist super. Es ist sehr schön, abends am Anleger zu sitzen. Im Ort gibt es ein sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant (Amici). Man kann auf einer angenehmen Strecke von wenigen Kilometern mit dem Rad gut nach Laboe gelangen, wo es ein ausgezeichnetes Fischrestaurant gibt. Auch weitere Ausflüge in die herrliche Landschaft der Probstei sind lohnenswert. Mein Mann und ich haben den Kurzurlaub sehr genossen und können den Aufenthalt im Haus von Grace Weidmann unbedingt empfehlen.

Super toller schöner Urlaub

Ferienhaus super tolle Lage nur 150 m vom Strand und Hafen entfernt. Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich !!!!!! Toller Ferienort alles gut von dort aus zu erreichen. Super Luft, super Klima und wenn die Sonne scheint alles wunderbar. Kleiner Genuss Tipp: Lokal Amici in Heikendorf (Italiener) in Laboe das Fischhaus und wenn man mit dem Fahrrad am Hafen links runter fährt kommt man am Ort Kitzeberg vorbei und muss dort im Lokal Kick ut Rast machen (ein Traum) Getränke, Essen und Ambiente. Allen einen schönen Urlaub im englischen Ferienhaus bei Grace tolle Gastgeber

Kurzurlaub in freundlicher Atmosphäre

Die Vermieterin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und sich sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit gezeigt. Das kleine Ferienhaus entspricht der Beschreibung in vollem Umfang. Es ist frisch renoviert, praktisch und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, das Duschbad sehr gepflegt und benutzerfreundlich. Die Lage in unmittelbarer Hafennähe ist besonders attraktiv und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Unser verlängertes Wochenende im englischen Ferienhaus bleibt uns auf jeden Fall in guter Erinnerung, wir kommen gerne wieder und können es weiterempfehlen.

Having a house near the harbor and beaches is great! It's so fun to walk out your door and be at the water in a few footsteps! It's also great fun to enjoy your very own seaside cottage. Make it yours and book it every year! There are beautiful trails along the water for cycling and walking and you can visit the other seaside towns without the use of a car. While there is the sea and maritime life at your doorstep, there are also shops and practicalities minutes away. Day trips to Kiel, Hamburg, Flensburg and Lübeck are also popular activities. Kitsurfing and windsurfing lessons are also available nearby.

What makes this property unique

We strive to make your vacation unforgettable. How about a customized English language vacation? There is a fantastic, 4.5 meter in-ground trampoline for all ages, a swing, garden furniture, grill, and beach toys. Rental of bicycles, kayak and canoe, can be negotiated at reasonable rates. There is a playground just up the block. Many kids try to catch fish along the harbor. We can equip you for a lovely day at the water!
