Hejlsminde is located on the Little Belt in an area with beautiful nature near forest, beach, sights and natural attractions. In the town there is a cozy boat harbor, and from several places you have views of Funen and the small island of Baagø. Take advantage of the many beautiful walking and biking trails that lead you through nature. Visit the trading town of Christiansfeld, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cake lovers should also visit Christiansfeld, a town famous for its delicious honey cakes. Not far from Hejlsminde is the beautiful nature area Skamlingsbanken. In Kolding and the surrounding area there is a lot to experience, be it for children, an active vacation or art and culture.
