About the host
Hosted by Graham Tinius
Graham and Odessa both live and work in the Salt Lake Valley full time. We fell in love with the Wasatch Mountains the first time we saw them and decided to call Northern Utah our home. When traveling with their kids, we love to stay at vacation rentals, because a whole house usually suits our needs better than a hotel room. We figured that if we love staying so much, why not try hosting as well. We hope that you enjoy your stay here, and come back to the Wasatch Front soon.
Why they chose this property
We initially were interested this home because we both have a love of mid-century design and architecture, but we really fell in love with the neighborhood. It offers a scenic drive full of beautiful homes and horse properties and an amazing view of the mountains at sunset can be seen right outside the front door.
Little Cottonwood Canyon is 20 minutes away by car and offers rock climbing, camping, picnicking and hiking May-October. Little Cottonwood is also home to Snowbird and Alta ski resorts. Snowbird is a Top 10 ski resort in the US and allows both skiing and snowboarding. Alta is limited to skiing and does not allow snowboarding. Big Cottonwood Canyon is 30 minutes away by car and offers hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, rock climbing and is home to the Wasatch Wildflower Festival. Big Cottonwood is also where you’ll find Brighton and Solitude ski resorts and both welcome snowboarding as well as skiing. If you’d like to visit Park City it’s 45 minutes by car and offers shopping, dining, and is home to the Sundance Film Festival, Utah Olympic Park, and Park City Mountain Resort

But after a long day of enjoying everything that Utah has to offer, we love coming back to our quiet home on a street with virtually no traffic, to spend the evening unwinding.
