HOT TUB! Enjoy the serene views from every room in the house with large windows that flood the home with natural light. Enjoy the view of the water while relaxing in the hot tub! This home is right on some of the best fishing in all of Smith Mountain Lake! The two tier dock offers an abundance of lounge space above and below, as well as a floating dock. The water is deep by dock, which is great for jumping in or docking the boat. Amenities abound both in the home and short drives to groceries, restaurants and activities! The general store is 7 minutes away with food, wine and other amenities. Food Lion is 15 minutes away. Bridgewater Marina is 17 minutes by car or 5 minutes by boat with putt putt, rock wall, arcade, live music and 3 restaurants.

Highly recommend this rental!! The house was beautiful with new floors and fresh paint! The hot tub was freshly serviced and the boat dock is awesome - we rented a pontoon for a couple of days and just tied up to the dock and then spent a day on big floats tied up. The house has everything and more you could ever want and the owners are so responsive! We'll be back as soon as we can!

easy to get in and very dog friendly. no gate in the yard so if you have a runner be careful. overall the house was nice and kids loved the dock. Some repairs needed, but was a great weekend. Thank you!

Great lake getaway location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay despite nearly a full day of rain. The house is spacious with comfortable living areas upstairs and downstairs to get together or find a quiet nook to read and relax. The deck has tons of seating with great views of the included dock and surrounding areas. Everything we needed was there and our two dogs loved roaming the gated deck, and my boys spent as much time in the hot tub as they did fishing and playing off the dock. Great place!

Wonderful home with Spectacular views

The home is exceptional. Clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. The Hot Tub was perfectly clean. Plenty of space. Would absolutely stay here again.

Nice Family Vacation

Very nice stay on the lake. This was out first time visiting SML and we had a nice relaxing time. It was so nice that we could bring our 2 dogs and boat. The pier was the highlight of the stay for our kids. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed.

The property was too steep for us. We love the house. My husband fell down, bringing in groceries the first night and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. He returned the next day to the vacation. We did not go out the rest of the week and stayed in the house. No negative thoughts to you. Next time I will view the location before I book. I may not be able to book if I cannot get the address until four days before arrival.

Time Away with Family

The house was located in a beautiful location. I really appreciated that it had 3 rooms with king sized beds and the fourth bedroom had a double with a twin above it as well as a twin bunk bed. There were 3 bathrooms, two of which were master bedroom bathrooms. The third bathroom had a shower and was located near the kitchen upstairs. The hot tub was a big hit for the family. The deck on the back provided a great view of the lake and plenty of space for guests to congregate.

Smith Mountain Lake Family Vacation

The house is well laid out for multiple family members and the yard to the nice boat dock is more level than most. The house needs a good cleaning and the plumbing needs some work. The faucet at the kitchen sink was not working properly and the owner responded quickly and had it replaced. However the lower level bathtub shower and several drains were slow to drain. There was no cold water at the lower level bathroom but learned it was turned off as it dripped otherwise. The can opener in the kitchen does not work.

Nice home great view.property management poor on cleaning and replacing lighting. 40 % of light switches did not work.almost all battery operated remotes and door lockbatteries were dead. Other than that we had a great stay.

The location and views of the lake were great. However, the house is in serious need of some TLC. I've actually never stayed somewhere with so many broken items (downstairs bathroom faucet shot water at me when turned on, sliding glass door off the porch had no lock and did not close properly, porch glider broken, porch swing broken, hot tub cover broken in half, piece of wood on floating dock broken off & ladder barley hanging on). The home was also not adequately cleaned – it was full of cobwebs/spiders, dust, and dog hair. I understand this is a pet friendly Vrbo, but that doesn’t mean I should have dog hair all over my pants after sitting on the couch.

Time with Family

We truly enjoyed our stay on SML! The home is clean, beautiful, spacious, and well equipped. The views of the lake from the main living room upstairs are great! There is no lack of beds or bathrooms in this home. It is perfect for small or large groups. The hot tub on the lower deck and the fireplace down stairs made a winter evening cozy and inviting. Our family gives the home 5 stars! We would definitely stay here again.

Great place!

We absolutely loved our stay in this house. It was perfect for 3 separate families and dogs. The shaded dock was great for shade and slight rain showers. We wished it was slightly cleaner, but that wasn’t a breaking point for us by any means, as they let us arrive an hour early to swim! Would definitely come back to this home. We made some great memories here!

A great house

The house was very clean, updated, plenty of room for a family, comfortable, and cozy. The furniture was all comfortable and plenty of space to sit. The family fished, played games, and just enjoyed sitting on the big porch in the afternoon together. The weather was beautiful and we all would go to the same place next year if we can.

Beautiful home away from home on SML

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home on Smith Mountain Lake. The large deck on the main floor was perfect for early morning and evening boat watching. The boat dock was covered and provided the perfect amount of shade for sitting next to the lake in the mid-day and afternoons. This is a narrow stretch of lake with quite a bit of traffic, but far enough away from the dock that we felt comfortable hanging out in the water. Our boat and seadoo fit very comfortably with room enough for another boat or seadoo. The house was very nice. Four spacious bedrooms, BEAUTIFUL living spaces on both floors, and well stocked with everything we needed for our extended family. The host was very pleasant to work with, very helpful, and replied quickly. We will be back next summer!

Family Vacation

Was very pleased with the stay! The property was laid out so well that it gave everyone a private place to sleep but a wonderful communal area to dine and share experiences. The hot tub was very clean, as was the entire premises. Also, communication with Chris, the property manager, was excellent.

Much needed vacay!

Our families enjoyed our stay. View was beautiful, kitchen well stocked, two separate living areas was perfect for our two families. Location is great…even had Food Lion deliver one day. The neighbor was even friendly! There is no doubt that this place needs a little TLC but the value for the price was great. I would like specifically to thank Chris for his regular and timely responses to my questions. He was friendly and informative.

Perfect week with family

We had an amazing time. We brought our boat and had no issues docking it. The house was clean and comfortable. Quiet neighborhood road, some boat traffic but a wide enough channel that we could still float and play in the water near the dock. We didn’t realize we were there during pirate week…what a hoot!
