Great place for a family getaway

Great property, beautiful location. Master suites upstairs and downstairs were terrific. Kitchen and living room were perfect for a large group. Three bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs plus a bunk room w/ no windows. Some of the mattresses need to be replaced. (upstairs room w/ bathroom and a few in the basement) If you dont need to use all the beds, it will be great.

We stayed here with family and friends for a wedding, and it was absolutely perfect. The house had plenty of space for everyone, which made it so much nicer than being spread out in separate places and only meeting at restaurants. It gave us the chance to relax, spend time together, and really catch up. The home was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and stocked with all the essentials we needed. Truly a wonderful stay—we couldn’t have asked for a better place!

Our family of 21 with 12 children, mostly under age 7, had a wonderful stay at Bobcat Lodge for 8 days in June/July! Activities in Colorado Springs were a reasonable drive, groceries, etc., were very convenient, and the Lodge was a delightful retreat from the city! Adults enjoyed the whirlpool once the kids were asleep! The kitchen, eating area, and main living space were very workable! Kathryn promptly answered the few operational questions we had upon arrival. The kids enjoyed the backyard and eating outside on the balcony. We witnessed a beautiful complete double rainbow our last evening! Overall the best of many VRBO rentals we have had over the years!

The Damons

Loved the property and the setting. But a kitchen isnt a complete without an ice maker! There was one downstairs, but the water was turned off, so we had no ice when we arrived. There were no paper towels and no sponge/scrubby for the sink. This was remedied quickly by the host but should have been there when we arrived.

A perfect place to make memories

We are so grateful to have found this amazing property! Our families were able to make life long memories in this beautiful home! Kathryn was very nice and responsive. If you want an incredible location for hosting or a base to enjoy everything the area has to offer this is the place for you!

Huge, comfortable home

We had a lovely stay at this home. It was very well decorated and comfortable and can accommodate a large group. The gas fire places and hot tub were highlights. Communication with the host was slower than with other rentals we've stayed in but everything worked out fine and we didn't have any issues that needed a quick response.

Great house - Nice Stay

We had large family gathering - house worked out great. Good: Spacious, good location, generally well appointed and in good condition. Not so good: Not well stocked, some parts run down, fireplace not working. Hot tub super chemically.

Great spot for a Boy Scout sleepover!

We stayed one night on our way from the Denver airport to Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron NM. The location was great! It was a short trip from the Air Force Academy, and only about 10 minutes for groceries and other sundries. The place was super clean and everybody loved (4 adult advisors and 8 scouts 15-17). The boys played football into the evening in the backyard. The best view is from the front door. There is a great back deck with grill, but the view is so-so. Would love to stay again!

More than you could ask for

This house was absolutely gorgeous! Kathryn makes it ridiculously easy to find anything you would ever need regarding how things work, WiFi, house rules, etc. The house is extremely spacious and has a spot for your entire group! Our group loved the fire pit, pool table, hot tub, corn hole, and hanging out on the upper deck to enjoy the natural beauty of the property! Would definitely recommend for all types of groups and would stay here again.

Family vacation

This is a beautiful home! It was very clean. It is a great place to stay if you have a large family. There are plenty of actvities to keep your family entertained during your stay. Everything you need is there for you. There are beautiful views of Black Forest and the Pikes Peak mountain range. We really enjoyed making memories with our family at this hugh luxurious home with everything to offer I definitely recommend staying at this vacation home.

Beautiful

Had a great time hosting a company retreat for twelve people. Location is amazing and everything worked well. Katheryn was absolutely amazing to work with and responded very quickly! We needed additional seating at dinner table and she allowed access to borrow chairs from the garage. Had a great time!

"Just right" vacation home

This was a great house for our three generations. There was plenty of room for everyone. The teens enjoyed the pool table and ping-pong, and the hot tub. The adults enjoyed the porch. Everyone enjoyed movies. The kitchen was plenty big for several cooks at one time. The location was also close to all major attractions on our list. Would definitely stay again if our plans bring us back to Colorado.

Awesome time

We throughly loved staying at the property, beautiful views. Plenty of room for our family of 12. We enjoyed seeing deer in the backyard every evening. The pool table and the shuffleboard were great entertainment on those really cold days.

Beautiful Property w/ Stocking Shortages

Katheryne was very responsive and prompt in her communication, and while this is overall a beautiful and well cared for home, we experienced some shortages. There was a sewage smell coming from the main bathroom during our stay. No laundry detergent was provided, and the amount of soap and paper products stocked was insufficient. Lots of potential here, but a bit more care and attention to detail would provide a significantly better overall guest experience.

Large and Beautiful Home

We enjoyed this home. It is very large and accommodated our group of 16 easily. It’s a beautiful home in a nice quiet area. FYI, the listing says there are 3 King beds; however there are only 2. The other is a Queen unless they have changed something in the past month.

Luxury Wedding Weekend

I rented this house for myself, my groom and our out of town guests for our wedding weekend. It was everything we could have asked for! Not only was it beautiful, but the layout was perfect for the amount of people we had. No one was on top of each other and there were plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. The barn was the perfect place to host my wedding reception. Unfortunately, someone opened the barn doors and we received a noise complaint, but once we addressed the issue everything was fine. Kathryn was understanding and a great host and I highly recommend booking with Adventure Homes. My guests didn't want to leave and I'm still dreaming about the master bathroom shower! These memories will last our lifetime. Thank you Kathryn for everything!

Family Reunion Fun

Loved the open concept of kitchen, dining and living area. Outdoor area was great for badminton, corn hole and croquet. 3rd generation enjoyed the fire pit. Watched the deer in early morning and evening from the spacious outdoor balcony.

Great family home!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home! We have stayed at several VRBO homes and this one by far was one of our favorites! The kitchen was wonderful for a group our size!
