The Space:
“Always Somerset” is a warm & inviting escape, with all you need to enjoy everything COS has to offer. Bring the whole family plus four-legged friends & spread out in the spacious split-level home with 6 bedrooms & 3 baths. With multiple gathering spaces, sun-drenched outdoor areas & many convenient household amenities, you’ll never want to leave! In case you do decide to explore the city, you’ll be centrally located just blocks from UCCS & you’ll enjoy short drives to many local attractions!

Pull up to the large driveway in the front and enter into the impressive 2,000+ sq ft space that you’ll have all to yourself. The split level foyer gives the option to go downstairs towards the basement level or upstairs to the living room, kitchen, and first two bedrooms. Feel free to hang your jackets on the coat rack or take off your shoes on the bench before heading to one of the main areas. Up the stairs leads you to the roomy and light-filled family room where a large sectional is centered. The curved, leather sectional is extremely plush and has plenty of pillows and a matching ottoman for extra comfort. It faces large windows that highlight the lovely scenery and the mounted flat screen tv where you’ll have the option to stream TV or movies. For extra warmth, turn on the electric fireplace heater.

The open layouts lead to the dining room where a large, 8-person dining table is waiting for your best meals to be had there. Don’t miss the open-concept for all your entertaining and dining needs. The second-story views continue from the big windows in the dining area and create tons of natural light. Along with all the dinnerware in the kitchen, the dining table is already set with placemats, dinner plates, dessert plates, and utensils so you can enjoy any-sized meal with your group.

After a day of sightseeing and exploring, you’ll surely work up an appetite. The clean and impeccably maintained galley-style kitchen is fully stocked with all the meal-prepping essentials. Equipped with stainless steel appliances and practically every cooking utensil for that large family meal! Though the cabinets are stocked with kitchen essentials, there’s still tons of storage and counter space for your own items. For the coffee lovers, we’ve set up a mini coffee bar with a coffee machine, coffee grounds, mugs, and sugar.

Moving straight down the hall from the kitchen leads you to the first bedroom. Not only is this bedroom one of the biggest, but it has some of the best views and tons of natural light. Open the curtains on each of the six windows every morning and flood the room with sunshine. Before dozing off on the king-sized mattress, turn on the TV and catch up on your favorite show from the comfort of your big bed. Two dressers, two bedside tables, and a wardrobe are available to use for storing your clothes and personal items. There’s also a sitting area with an armchair and bookshelf, perfect for bird watching or reading a good novel.

The second bedroom on this floor has an equally-sized bed and is furnished with bedside tables, a dresser, mounted TV, and small TV stand. Ceilings fans have been installed to keep you cool at night. This charming room has been decorated with cute wall art and a large rug that partially covers the gorgeous hardwood floors. The bed is always made with fresh linens, soft bedding, and a plethora of pillows.

A third bedroom can also be found on this floor and has its own en-suite bathroom attached. This room has another king-sized bed, a large vanity dresser, and two closets on each side of the bathroom. Sleeping in this room earns you easy access to the full bathroom with a shower/bath combo. Sparking white and meticulously cleaned, the bathroom is stocked with fresh white towels, soap, and candles. Feel free to keep your hygienic products under the sink or in the drawers.

The lower level of this home is just as impressive as the upper level, with three more bedrooms and two bathrooms. A second family room can also be found down here, furnished with two futon couches, 70-inch TV, an ottoman with storage, and a table with chairs. The furniture is centered around a stove fireplace with a stunning brick mantel wrapped around it. Get a fire going, turn on the big game, and gather around the table for game night! There’s also a sliding door that leads to the outdoor patio.

The bedrooms downstairs are similarly sized, styled, and provide all the necessary amenities. One of the bedrooms has another king size bed, a TV and TV stand, and has their own private entrance through the slider. The other two bedrooms both have queen-sized beds, closet space, and hotel-grade linens. A full bathroom is also attached to one of the bedrooms, with a walk-in shower and washer/dryer unit. All the laundry essentials are provided such as detergent, dryer sheets, and stain remover. Completing the downstairs is another full bathroom with a walk-in shower and large vanity with multiple drawers and granite counters.

Access the outdoor spaces through one of the slider doors on the lower level or down the stairs on the side of the house. The backyard was designed to embrace the magical winter days, and can be enjoyed in the sun or snow. Grill your favorites and enjoy meals at the outdoor dining table. Though the location of the home is centrally located, it feels private and secluded from the neighbors. Let your dogs run around the wide open space of the backyard without any worries of them escaping through the fence. Additional chairs are provided so your whole group can enjoy the outdoors together.
