The Misty Mountain cabin is managed by Calliday Vacation Rentals. The cabin is in Black Bear Falls Resort, which offers a gated community pool with a kiddie pool and lounge chairs during summer. Please note: the pool is closed in winter (from one week after Labor Day until one week before Memorial Day).

You’ll have full access to everything the cabin offers, including the game room, hot tub, and two spacious decks. Self-check-in is easy with keyless entry, and for peace of mind, the home is equipped with a front door security camera.

We want your stay at The Misty Mountain to be as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Please take a moment to review our key policies:
• Maximum Guests: 8
• Renter Agreement: A signed rental agreement is required (emailed after booking)
• Security Deposit: $300, just a holding deposit, will not charge on the card and be released after checkout
• Parties & Events: Not permitted Outdoor camera at entrance for safety
• Please keep doors & windows closed to avoid wildlife entering
• The roads leading to the cabin are easy to navigate with any vehicle, with no steep inclines to worry about.
• Parking is secure and available for up to two cars.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
1. Leave bed as-is and and keep used towels and on the bathroom floor. 2. Please remove all items from the fridge, bag all trash and place them in the bear proof metal box outside of the house.
3. Please remember to close the hot tub/spa cover and securely lock the cables. 4. Pick up pets waste and dispose them in the metal bin outside. (for pets friendly cabin only)
5. Set thermostat heat at 60F and cool at 75F. 6. Lock all windows, doors and turn off lights, TV and fans upon departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Required to sign Renter Agreement. Check-in 4pm Check-out 10am.
Non refundable cancellation fee is $50.
Security deposit required of $300 to $395 depends on the property.

Our stay at Misty Mountain Cabin was everything we hoped for and more.The cabin offers stunning mountain views and a warm, cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. It was exceptionally clean, and the decks-with its wonderful hot tub-became our favorite spot. We enjoyed breakfast outside each morning and relaxed in the hot tub every evening. The location couldn't be better-just minutes from town and very close to the Nat'l park, which we visited daily.Inside, the king beds were incredibly compfy,the gas fireplace added the perfect touch of convenience and charm, arcade games and pool table were a fun bonus. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of amenities for cooking our meals.The host was very responsive,kind and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Spending my birthday week here made the trip even more special. This cabin was truly perfect! We will be back!

I can’t say enough great things about this cabin! Great communication with host, clean, comfy, quiet, centrally located, no crazy vertical roads needed to access it. Beds were very comfortable, views were pretty. Saw lots of wildlife including a mama bear with 3 cubs! Would definitely recommend!

She lives on the west coast with her spouse and two daughters and they all love to travel and explore new areas. They have created so many precious family memories through their adventures that they decided they would like to share with other families to be able to do the same.

After purchasing a second home in South Lake Tahoe, San wanted to share the home and experience with other guests and turned it into a vacation rental. She loves its beautiful mountains, many skiing opportunities, the stunning lake, and all the nearby casinos. This is her go-to for vacation twice a year and she treasures her time there with her family. She loved to hear from her guests that “they made wonderful travel memories while staying at her properties”.

San has built her business by caring for her guests and personally selected the new vacation homes that she manages and tastefully decorated. She now owns a second and third vacation homes in Gatlinburg, TN. She has found this area in the Smoky Mountains to be so beautiful, with almost endless activities. It’s perfect for both kids and kids-at-heart. She has also been happy to understand the meaning of “Southern Hospitality”, as she has met so many warm and welcoming folks in her journeys.
