Charming Country House in Ayer's Cliff

Ancestral house (1860) combining the historic charms and modern comfort located in the charming village of Ayer's Cliff. Located a few minutes walk from the village center and the Tomifobia Nature Trail. Spacious house that can accommodate up to 10 people, ideal for families. Large gallery allowing, with a little luck, to observe the family of deer which visits us regularly.

The house has 1 bedroom on the ground floor as well as 3 bedrooms upstairs. Wall-mounted A\C in every bedroom. The full bathroom is upstairs. There is a powder room and laundry room on the main floor. Very well equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, microwave, toaster, filter coffee machine, espresso machine, raclette oven, fondue stove.

Large intimate backyard with view of the forest. Including patio furniture, BBQ and outdoor fireplace.

Maison ancestrale (1860) alliant charmes d'antan et confort moderne située dans le charmant village de Ayer's Cliff. Grand terrain boisé, à quelques minutes à pied du centre du village et du Sentier Nature Tomifobia. Maison spacieuse pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes, idéale pour familles. Grande galerie permettant, avec un peu de chance, d'observer la famille de chevreuils qui nous visite régulièrement.

La maison inclut 1 chambre au rez-de-chaussée ainsi que 3 chambres à l'étage. Climatisation dans toutes les chambres à coucher. La salle de bain complète est à l'étage. Il y a une salle d'eau et salle de lavage au rez-de-chaussée. Cuisine très bien équipée, incluant lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, grille-pain, cafetière filtre, cafetière expresso, four à raclette, poêle à fondue.

Grande cour arrière intime avec vue sur la forêt. Incluant meubles de patio, BBQ et foyer extérieur.

Lovely farmhouse with such character!

Just spent 4 nights at this lively farmhouse. Beautiful wood floors throughout, that were different in almost every room. The house was spotless and the kitchen especially was very well appointed. The location for our purposes was great. We also appreciated fans and AC units as it was very hot and humid!! Thank you Catherine. Law family

Ideal for family getaway

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway with kids. Plenty of outdoor and indoor space for the kids to play, and more than enough space for meals. Very well-stocked kitchen was also very appreciated! The house was comfortable, clean, and well taken care of.

Perfect for the area and our objectives

The house and location was perfect for the 5 of us. We loved being in such a place. Well equipped, comfortable and cozy. We could relax there before and after our curling, and all slept well. We visited the friendly Auberge and shopped at the nearby Marche Tradition. Would recommend the house as excellent.

Beautiful and Spacious Getaway to Ayer's Cliff

A beautiful country home for getaways. Not many other properties have such spacious common areas for friends and families to spend time together. We cooked, played games, and relaxed together. The kitchen invites you to gather around the island with drinks, food and laughs. The dining room offers a table that fits everyone for meals or games with large windows for natural light. When you need to rest there are plenty of cushy seats in the living room by the fire and four bedrooms if anyone needs some privacy. The house is full of character and is very clean and well kept. Our entire group loved it. Our ages ranged from teens, 20s 40s and 60 year olds. We came here for the skiing which was mostly cancelled due to extreme temps but the trip was still a success because of how much we enjoyed the property. The host is very attentive and provides excellent communication on what to expect along with information on establishments in Ayer's Cliff. We will be staying here next time we visit Mt. Orford.

Superbe séjour à la « Maison jaune »

Nous avons passé un très beau congé de Pâques en famille grâce au confort et à tout ce que peut offrir cette ancienne maison de campagne. Elle est superbement rénovée, très propre et tout y est pour bien profiter de beaux moments en famille. Nous avons visité la région dont la belle ville de Stanstead et le village de Georgeville. Il ne faut pas manquer les bonnes pâtisseries et produits de la boutique Face de Bœuf d’Ayer’s Cliff. Merci à Catherine. Elle mérite grandement son titre de super hôte.

Maison accueillante et complète

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette maison. Cette demeure est vaste et accueillante pour les familles de tous âges. La cuisine est vraiment bien équipée, au delà de ce que avions obtenu dans d'autres location. Le coin lecture et de jeu pour les jeunes enfants est bien apprécié aussi. Les chambres sont munies de lits confortables. Lors de notre séjour, nous en avons profité pour faire un feu dans le foyer extérieur. Bref, nous recommandons cette maison fortement.

Jolie maison bien équippé

Nous avons passé quelques jours en famille à la jolie maison de Catherine. La maison est très bien équippée, surtout la cuisine, ce qui est rare! Le chauffage fonctionne bien et le foyer au gaz nous a tenu au chaud lors d'une panne d'électricité (tempête majeure). L'internet est rapide. La maison est aussi bien située, près d'un sentier et du coeur du village d'Ayer's Cliff. La communication avec Catherine était rapide et cordiale. Bref, tout ce dont on peut espérer pour un agréable séjour!

Relaxing Retreat

We had a wonderful stay this last weekend. The property and home was beautiful, well kept and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well organized and had everything we needed for our stay. We were in town to visit family and this was the perfect spot for us. Everything was efficient and easy with the communication and check in/out. We enjoyed our time so much at this peaceful place in the heart of the townships and were sad to leave. We would love to stay again when we visit.

Hiking in the Eastern Townships

The property was exactly as described, clean and comfortable. The host was very gracious and responded quickly to emails. The kitchen is well equipped and accommodated our group of 7 adults who were getting together to do some hiking in the area. Well located with easy access to locations around Mont Orford, Magog and Coaticook. Would go back.
