Water Fall

We booked this property to celebrate New Year’s Eve & day in the city. The property was nicely decorated, but needed a dusting. All was well until it was time to shower. My niece went to take a shower after a nite out only to find the water from the shower pouring into the dining area. When I returned to the home I noticed that the shower area as well as the dining area had previous water damage and patch work. I tried getting in touch with the owner to find a fix to the problem. No such luck. There were 8 other ppl who needed to shower, but could not as we did not want to damage the property. The owner contacted me once I checked out of the property. To the owners, sad we cared more about your property than you did. We could have all taken showers and left your property with water damage, but we did not. We even cleaned up the water that had poured out and left your property neat and clean. You however left us with no response and no refund. Shame on you and this is why you can’t support Black businesses. No respect to the customer. Others beware of this property! Tried to upload pictures so all could see!

First of all the property I paid for isn’t the one I stayed in 2 days before my trip the property owner calls me and states the property I paid for 4 bedroom 2 or 1.5 bathrooms had a leak so she was giving us the other side which was the same amount of everything she sent me the pics of the bedrooms via text message and it was 4 so I said ok. The day I get there Friday February 10 the whole first floor is cold no matter how high the heat is, the bathroom sink is clogged the water won’t go down when we brush our teeth my boyfriend pulled the plug up and it was clogged with so much black hair he threw everything in the garbage after I took pictures to send to the property owner oh by the way it was only 1 bathroom for 7 guest deception number one. I sent the property owner a long text message about the sink and asked for a partial refund because the place only had 1 bathroom and I paid for 2 or 1.5 bathrooms she stated she cleaned the place herself from top to bottom and implied that one of my kids clogged the sink. How?? We reached the property like 9pm and by 12pm the next day I messaged her with my concerns and pictures. The toilet bowl seat cover was screwed half way on there was a crack inside the toilet bowl the kitchen counter stayed wet no matter how much times we wiped it up. Only one TV in the whole house which is in the cold living room. The tub was partially dirty you can see a ring around it as well it was also slippery my mom and daughters slipped while showering

Great place!

Our host was awesome and allowed for an earlier check-in. The location of the home is fantastic for beachgoing. Everything was lovely. I would stay again!

Atlantic City Family Get-away

Overall the experience in regards to the lodging was great. There was a miscommunication on check-in date but we were able to get in touch with owner to get access to the property. Weather was a disappointment. It was windy and chilly the whole time of our stay. Did not expect this would be the case in the June/July timeframe.

Why they chose this property

We are four blocks from the Ocean, Hard Rock, Showboat and the jersey shore. Our guest can enjoy walking to the near by dollar general for basic needs or heading out to the many restaurants that surround the Atlantic City area. We are also close to the aquarium and the kids arcade located inside the Show Boat. There are lots of Shows , events & night life to enjoy year round.
