Peter and his wife were wonderful guests who appreciated the property very much treated it like their own and seem to leave it as well cared for as when they arrived. We’re very happy that he and his family were able to be together as his son lives nearby. We hope that Peter and Celeste will stay with us again.

Charming hideaway in Westchester!
I spent 2 serene weeks here and hope to return some day! With modern creature comforts in the kitchen, the rest of this home is very rustic. If you are looking for peace and quiet, and are into drawing, cooking or reading books to the sounds of trees rustling and water flowing across the street, you will be in heaven here.
For summer months, note that there is only a small portable AC unit in the sunroom. There are several fans and it was manageable in early summer, but I imagine it is quite warm throughout the summer. During my stay a few issues arose but the hosts were extremely responsive and quick to resolve each one. This home is also quite close to Scott's Corner shops and markets.

Erin appreciated the character of our cottage - rustic and peaceful whilst being close to amenities in Scott's Corners and the environs. We had just completed some work involving the kitchen. Nicely done except our appliances were not reconnected by the contractor. I hope it is not presumptuous to say our guest was very patient as functionality was restored.
As noted in Erin's review, we do not have central air-conditioning but we are augmenting our existing portable units as summer begins.
We would be happy to have her stay with us again.

Cozy, comfortable, convenient stay in Pound Ridge
John was a fantastic host - his home was the perfect solution for us for a few days while we were in the process of moving to the area and our home wasn't ready yet. Great communication with us prior to check-in, very responsive to our questions and needs at the beginning and throughout our stay. Home is as pictured in the photos with very nice touches throughout. Washer/dryer and dishwasher in great working condition. Location super close to Scotts Corners where there are nice local restaurants, places to grab coffee and a supermarket, as well as other local areas of interest (Bedford, New Canaan, etc.). Highly recommend!
