Highly Recommend!
This was a great home for our family who were in town for a baby shower. We enjoyed a family dinner prepared by a private chef and the kitchen/dining room were perfect, with everything we needed! We loved the location of the home - close to 42 but surrounded by trees, giving us privacy and quiet. It rained a bit, but we were able to enjoy the fire table on the deck one night. The home was beautiful, clean and nicely decorated. Erin was a lovely host, communicating throughout the process to make sure our stay was perfect. This was the BEST experience I’ve ever had with a home rental.

Well-appointed retreat
Our group enjoyed a Friendsgiving getaway at this property and had a fantastic time. Everything is exactly as described and Erin was incredibly responsive and communicative. Her instructions on how to access the property were detailed and clear. She even offered to ship a pair of pants that our friend’s son left behind. The house is very comfortable and the kids had a blast in the hot tub and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Highly recommend!

Perfect
Just WOW! We stayed here for a family wedding weekend and we could not have asked for a better place! The home is beautiful and the hosts are more than you could ask for. We were checked in on via message a few times making sure there was nothing we could need and we were able to have a late checkout which gave us just a few more hours to recover after a great wedding! Can’t wait to come back!

Peaceful and Accommodating
This is our 6th year finishing our summer in Door County with our kids, but first on the west side and first with our extended family. We were impressed from the beginning. Erin was communicating with us before the trip, giving us recommendations for activities during, and making sure we had everything we needed. I know the property is on the pricier side, but I will say the quality of the house, accommodations given, as well as the wonderful location, well justify it. If you have children the bunk room was well worth it. And Moms and Dads were able to sneak out into the hot tub as well! Memories formed for our children, fun times around the fire with our family, we will definitely be back.

About the host

Host profile image
We are orginally from the Green Bay Area, which is where our love for Door County began as children.

We absolutely love everything Door County has to offer, from its charming towns to its natural beauty. We've spent summers since childhood enjoying the scenic views, taking part in outdoor waterfront activities, and exploring the unique shops activities, and restaurants.

Some of our fondest memories were made right here in Door County. One of our first dates was at the Skyway Drive-In in Fish Creek, and we even got engaged in the breathtaking Peninsula State Park. These special moments have made Door County a place of great significance for us.

We have a deep passion for Door County, and we want to share that love with others. Hosting allows us to welcome guests and help them experience the beauty and joy of Door County with their own friends and family. We truly enjoy working with our guests to make their stay extra special and create lasting memories for them.

When you stay with us, you can expect a warm and inviting atmosphere. The Ephraim House and The Sister Bay Haus are designed for relaxation, and we're happy to provide recommendations for local activities and experiences to enhance your trip. We're here to make sure your stay is exceptional. We're always available to assist you...your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities!

Why they chose this property

We were very intentional in choosing to build in Ephraim and Sister Bay because each of these towns offers a unique and delightful experience for our guests.

Ephraim: This quaint and charming town captures the essence of Door County's natural beauty and small-town charm. With its scenic waterfront and historical appeal, Ephraim provides a tranquil and relaxing environment for our guests. Whether it's a serene morning by the bay or a leisurely stroll through the town for ice cream at Wilson's or a glass of wine while watching the spectacular sunsets, Ephraim offers a peaceful retreat that allows guests to unwind and connect with nature.

Sister Bay: In contrast, Sister Bay is lively and entertaining. It's a hub of activity with a vibrant waterfront and an array of restaurants, shops, and events. Our properties in Sister Bay allow our guests to experience a different side of Door County. From enjoying live music and events in the heart of the village to exploring the waterfront, Sister Bay provides an energetic and dynamic atmosphere.

Having properties in both Ephraim and Sister Bay is our way of ensuring that our guests can experience the best of Door County. Whether they seek entertainment, outdoor activities, breathtaking sunset views, shopping, or dining, our accommodations in these two diverse towns offer a well-rounded Door County experience. Guests can choose the ambiance that suits their preferences and have easy access to all that Door County has to offer.

What makes this property unique

Our properties stand out for their meticulously curated and custom-designed spaces, tailored with multi-generational gatherings in mind. They offer a seamless blend of visual allure and functional comfort, ensuring every guest feels truly at home. The heart of our homes lies in the chef's kitchen, equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, ideal for family meals and gatherings. Luxury accommodations promise a restful stay, while contemporary interior design elements create a current yet timeless ambiance.

In addition to these features, guests can revel in the cozy warmth of a fireplace and the camaraderie of a campfire pit. Ample outdoor seating options provide opportunities to savor the scenic surroundings. Staying with us means experiencing a level of comfort, style, and thoughtful design that transcends the ordinary. We take immense pride in offering luxury accommodations and a space where guests can relax, connect, and create cherished memories in an environment that truly feels like a home away from home.

Cheers to an extraordinary experience in Door County!
Erin and John
