This is what one our our guest loved: We spent five days in this house. It turned out to be better than its photos. The house is right on the banks of the Kangaroo lake. I had my coffee on the pier everyday amongst tall trees . The house is well kept and has everything that you would want.

Not far away is the nostalgic drive-in movie theater that will surely capture great memories.

For your shopping pleasure take a day and enjoy the many shops there are to offer. Stop and have lunch at one of the fine restaurants along the strip. Only a short drive away there are many orchards and vineyards to explore. Everything is at your fingertips for you to enjoy.

Fully stocked kitchens, cozy living rooms, and comfy beds to relax in while you stay.

The home has 5 bedrooms with 4 baths and can comfortably sleep up to 16 people. 5 of the rooms have water view which includes the kitchen/dinning area.

We throughly enjoyed our stay! It had everything we needed and the view was spectacular. We meet Terry and found we had a lot of common interest which was fun. The Perfect Long Weekend Stay

The Island View Lakehouse was the PERFECT place to stay for our girls' weekend! The location is unbeatable on Kangaroo Lake, and the house itself is comfortable, spacious, and has great lakehouse vibes. Terrie was a very welcoming and communicative host. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Door County with a family/larger group!

My family had a wonderful week in Door County staying at this delightful home on Kangaroo Lake! The property is gorgeous and the photos in the listing don’t do it justice. The home was beautiful, clean, and the hosts were fantastic! This kitchen was one of the most well-equipped ones that I’ve stayed in and had everything we needed and more. With 3 kids in our group, the fire pit, boats, and dock were heavily used and the lake’s sand bottom off the dock was perfect for swimming. Each bedroom had its own A/C unit, and stayed very cool (and my husband and I like the COLD then sleeping), and the unit in the main area also kept things nice and cool, even with temps almost in the 90s outside. The 5 minute drive to Bailey’s Harbor was the perfect distance to pop over and do things/grab anything we needed. Michael was a fantastic host- extremely responsive, and checked in to make sure we were settled in and see whether we needed anything during our stay. Will absolutely be staying here again!

Beautiful home inside and out

House and grounds are very well maintained on Kangaroo Lake. The 5 bedrooms and 4 bath comfortably fit our family of 14 included 9 adults and 5 grandkids. Campfire pit was well stocked with wood, weather was cool ( October) but would be awesome to use the lake during the summers. Definitely an A+ property and property owners.

When we walked in and saw the view of the lake and the beautiful open living area we were delighted!! We had a birthday toast of the dock watching the sunset! Gorgeous~ It was so nice there we cancelled dinner reservations and had a light dinner there, and played games. What a great piece of Heaven!! Thanks for sharing!!

Beautiful home on Kangaroo lake

We enjoyed our stay at this home on Kangaroo lake. This is a very spacious home and Michael was very helpful at check in and quickly responsive to any questions. The only caution in renting this property is the WiFi speed. It is too slow to do conference calls and efficiently work from the home

Best Vacation Ever!!!!

The Island View Lake House is by far the best vacation home we have ever stayed in. It was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, had comfortable furniture and beds, the kitchen is incredibly well-stocked, and the location is unbeatable! Our family of 9 had more than enough space to cook, relax, and play for several days. The outdoor area is as thoughtfully prepared and stocked as the indoor, with multiple boats and a lovely fire pit. The owners live nearby and met us when we arrived which was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had during our stay.  We are already looking forward to our stay next year!  The Fisher Family

Baileys Harbor retreat

Beautiful property. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Owner even included bikes to ride, canoe, kayaks, and a fire pit with firewood and kindling provided enough for our entire 4 day stay. Another nice feature was there was an extra refrigerator to hold drinks and overflow of food we brought for the four days. Beds were amazingly comfortable with plenty of overflow spaces for eight adult people. Very nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay very much. We are planning to return same time next year to catch the fall colors. Thank you Michael.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view of the lake is perfect and there’s so much to do in the area. The fire pit was really nice and the wood is supplied. Kids really like the hammock. We had 10 people in our party and there was plenty of room for everybody. I would definitely stay at this house again.

Lake house paradise

This property was beautiful. We stayed with our family and had kids 3 to 18. It was more beautiful than the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked and we grilled many meals. The whole family enjoyed kayaking on the lake and it was great for the kids because the lake was so shallow. There were plenty of outdoor games to play and we spent a lot of time just hanging outside. The property was very quiet and the backyard was very private and secluded. I would stay here again. Family vacation

We had a wonderful week in Door County. This beautiful home and location was perfect for our group of 13. Photos are a very accurate description. Quiet and private location on the clear lake, yet close proximity to so many areas of Door County. Michael was so easy to work with and all the amenities that came with the home were great! We loved the bicycles, kayaks and canoe, and the life jackets that were provided. Unfortunately there weren't any fish off our dock, needed to venture out to the island for that but the view and sunsets were beautiful. Bald eagle flew over while the kids were kayaking! We will cherish the memories made on this trip and hopefully will return sometime soon as we found more areas near by to check out! Thank you Michael!

Perfect home for a family vacation

We had a wonderful week’s stay at Michael’s home on Kangaroo Lake. Plenty of space for the 6 of us (plus a toddler who loved running around in the yard and “playing” the provided yard games!). The weather was great so we ate our dinners outside overlooking the peaceful lake. Michael was very responsive and the location was ideal-just a few minutes to Bailey’s Harbor and 10 or so minutes to Egg Harbor and the Main St Market. We would highly recommend this home!
