Waterfront with private sandy Beach- on 2 Acres! Dog Friendly with fence!

Welcome to Lily Bay Lodge, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This 3-story home was built in 1988 and sits on a 2-acre wooded property with 200 feet of sandy Lake Michigan shoreline. It features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and overlooks Lake Michigan so you'll experience breathtaking views from almost every room in the house. It also has a screened in porch that faces south and offers bug-free dining and the sounds of the waves hitting the shore add to the experience. The outdoor brick paved patio is on the lakeside and also has a table and chairs for outdoor dining. There is also a firepit on the beach for evening campfires. This home is located a short 10-minute drive to downtown Sturgeon Bay and is about 3/4 mile to the Lily Bay boat launch.

This property allows up to 2 well-behaved dogs under 25 pounds each. There is an additional fee collected at booking.

Water Access:
+ Easy water entry from the property.
+ Swimming Conditions: 200 feet of sand beach, water temps are cool: 50-60 degrees. Beach stretches for miles offering a great opportunity to walk the beach to enjoy nature, watch the sunrise, or try fishing.
+ Water Depth: A gentle slope from shore 0-10 feet (20 feet from shore)
+ Kayaks can be used no more than 50 yards off the shoreline, any further out water is rough and cold.

Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:
-Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
-A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
-PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

This home is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, or other rowdy gatherings.

Perfect family get away

My family, including our two young kids and cavapoo, stayed here for five nights and enjoyed every minute. The location was close to everything we wanted to see and the fun part was the kids looked forward to coming back to the house each night and playing on the beach. The fenced in yard was great for our dog. We grilled out two nights and strolled song the beach at sunrise and sunset. The owner was very welcoming and attentive and we appreciated the fish and other goodies he left for us. This house made the trip a true success and we came home with lots of special memories of our time in Sturgeon Bay.

Wonderful Door County Lakeside weekend

The Lily Bay Lodge was wonderful- the house is great, beds super comfy. And the location was amazing - so many stars in the clear night sky and we loved drifting off to sleep to the sound of the waves. Host was very responsive to all our questions and needs and gave a great suggestion for local live music!

Perfect getaway!

Beautiful house and property with absolutely stunning views of Lake Michigan! I was the exact restful getaway we were looking for and our dog was also delighted to be there due to the fenced in back yard and the wide open beach to explore either direction. Great House on Lily Bay

My family stayed here for a long weekend at the at the beginning of May. I cannot recommend it enough. The location can’t be beat! Miles of sandy beach just steps from the property. The listing photos were very accurate and the house was bigger than we thought. You could definitely have a large group there without any issues. The owner was very responsive. I feel confident that if we had run into any issues, he would have done his best to fix it immediately. You can tell he truly cares about the property and wants everyone to have the best possible experience. Great stay!
