Peace, Serenity, and Solitude - You have located that extraordinary piece of Montana - your very own Montana Amish log cabin home on 21+ private acres.

NOTE: The Montana Cabin now has Air Conditioning for your comfort during the warmer summer season! Refund Policy - VRBO doe not have a refund policy that aligns with ours. The listing will show FIRM no refund. There is a $300 non-refundable fee to reserve and hold your week. On or before 45 days prior to arrival/check-in FINAL payment for your stay is due. Once paid, your FINAL payment is non-refundable - with the exception, we will open your week and attempt to fill your previously reserved week - if successful, and your week is re-rented - we will gladly refund your payment. Any questions, please contact us directly.

Also, there's a covered gazebo and hot tub, for rest after a day spent exploring the surrounding area. Over 87 percent of the surrounding land is state and national forest area just waiting for you to enjoy.

A true wilderness escape!

This was such a lovely cabin located in a very serene setting. The view was spectacular. The hosts were amazing. They provided plenty of great suggestions to fully enjoy our time in Montana. Even with the unusual heat dome that visited with us, the stay was amazing. Keith and Dona suggested a lovely mini-hike escape to a natural air conditioner in the wilderness! We definitely must return!

A great time to reconnect with family enjoying the views and everything nature has to provide. The cabin was perfect for our family, we enjoyed watching the deer, wild turkeys, and salmon run at the Tobacco River. Highly recommended.

A perfect cabin with amazing views!

We just returned home from a week at the Montana Cabin and we all had an absolutely fabulous time. It didn’t take long to fall in love with the area. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband and I and our two teenage boys. The location was optimal- we had our choice of activities in many different directions. A week was not enough time and look forward to coming back to explore some more the area has to offer.

This place is exactly what is described and more... the owner gave us so many recommendations on places to go we got to see things we didn’t even know were in Montana. We’ve been to many cabins through the years in many places across the country but this one was our favorite by far.

The views are unbeatable!

Montana was the perfect spot for our family vacation! We had such a great time at this quaint little Amish built cabin for our family vacation with our two kids. We spent most of our days on the deck or in the hot tub, enjoying the spectacular views. The owners live next door and were very courteous, kind, and helpful - always greeting us when they passed by. We brought our boat and utilized the marina near by, so we could explore/enjoy Lake Koocanusa every day. We only had one small issue with the cleanliness of the cabin, it was not completely clean upon arrival - we had to wipe down all of the tables/counters/fridge, and sweep under the table. (Everything was very dusty/food crumbs.)

The cabin was adorable! The view was incredible! The hospitality was wonderful! We felt like the only two on the planet, but if we wanted to mingle in society, town was only 5 minutes away! Made many memories... Can't wait to go back!

We loved staying at The Montana Cabin. The view from the deck is amazing! We really enjoyed sitting in the comfortable deck chairs, drinking coffee and relaxing. The cabin offered plenty of space for the four of us. It was very clean, comfortable and beautiful. We cooked / grilled a lot during our stay. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and we loved the wood pellet grill (we're going to buy one for our house). Keith and Dona were very friendly. We enjoyed meeting them. Why they chose this property

The views from the deck of your cabin are unbelievable and hard to describe. The only 'true' way to experience the area is to see it in person. The view of Lake Koocanusa and the surrounding valley is outstanding and this is why we chose this location to begin our small, two cabin, rental business. In addition, the location allowed us a large enough piece of property to keep both cabins private and unique.

What makes this property unique

Peace, Serenity, and Solitude can finally be yours at The Montana Cabin! You're close to everything that you'll need...but, also far enough away that you'll feel secluded and private...You won't find cabins lined up one right after the other, side-by-side.
