The host was very helpful (though the app was difficult to use and we needed to translate messages through a different service). We were very grateful for the gentleman who waited for us to arrive (transport delays meant we arrived at 12.30am). We recommend that the host advise patrons of additional costs for access after 10pm prior to booking confirmation. Also think there should be an option to collect key after hours via lockbox or similar. We were very disappointed with the accommodation. There was no information on the website stating the room was below ground level. The stairs were exceptionally steep and carrying luggage was difficult (again, very grateful to the man who met us for his help). The finishing of the interiors is not great, there were tiles missing in bathroom walls and mould in bathroom ceiling. There was one bottle of soap next to basin, no other provisions. Nearly all the plants in the room were dead and cleaning equipment was lying around. We were also under the impression there was a separate bedroom but the main bed and sofa bed are within a metre of each other. The kitchen has a full fridge/freezer and all the equipment you’d need to self-cater. Overall, a disappointing stay.
