Great kitchen space
Very clean and decorated very nicely
Road was pretty busy with traffic
Very close to downtown - convenient for the farmer’s market
Circuit breaker for hot water heater tripped multiple times. Notified owner and they were aware of it already.
The house is clean, has a well stocked kitchen, great location and great view of the bay/canal. The decks were nice for sitting out and watching the on water activities in the morning and evening. The dock is solid, safe and stable. Yard is well kept. The AC is a mini split set up to cool the common areas, leaving The bedrooms a little warm on the hotter days. With that said, we’ll stay here again and would recommend this house as a great place to stay in Sturgeon Bay.
We stayed with family of assorted ages and the place was well kept and exactly what the listing showed. Dave was accomadating and responsive to any questions. Would recommend staying and would definately stay there again.
The house was clean and well-stocked. David the host was responsive and easy to work with to coordinate check in. It was within walking distance of downtown and all parts of Door County were within easy driving distance.
This house had everything our family needed and we had the BEST time!! We rented a pontoon boat from across the bay which was a very easy process. Had a beautiful time cruising the bay and fishing (and getting sunburned). 😉. The owner was very responsive and we hope to come back again next year!
This property was exactly as pictured and very clean. For my group of friends and myself, it was a great location, a quick walk into town, and close to many state parks. Being right on the water was amazing. I highly recommend this property.
The propert is a lovely little cabin on the water. The neighborhood is queiet and walking distance from downtown. The property manager is a local gentleman. He is prompt with responding to any questions you might have.
Great property, very, very clean! Nice and comfortable, walking distance to 3rd st annd the bay area. Excellent and safe neighborhood. Bat rental right across the way, and a dock at the house. Beautiful scenery, nice and quiet. But close enough to everything. Even walmart was 2 miles. Wonderful celebration for a 40th anniversary!
Wonderful property, perfect location. Dave was easy to work with, very responsive and keeps a very nice home. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make meals. The hubby & kids had fun fishing off the piers out back. Fire pit was a fun way to end the day. loved walking my dog through the neighborhood, everyone was friendly, and there is much to see. The teenager wants to come back again !
We really enjoyed our weekend getaway in Sturgeon Bay. The house had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the convenience of having access to the water and the walking distance to shops and restaurants. Great vacation home, in a great location!
Place was located in a great area, easy to navigate and get around. Plenty of room in the home for two families of 3. Right on the water so fun to watch the marina life.
Two couples enjoyed the backyard firepit and boat dock. The boat launch is just across the bay. Walking distance to downtown and across the bridges. Lots of kitchen storage and comfortable king beds. Easy access to both Door County coasts.
And it’s right on the water! Walkable to so much! The previous reviews do a good job listing the wonderful qualities of this home. I can add that the cookware is like new, clean and flat. The knives were great. Nice glasses for cocktails and wine. The small washer and dryer were a nice touch! Love the water and ice in the fridge door. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. There is a natural food market walking distance. And the Sat am Farmers Market is just up the street! Due to state regulations bring any cooking basics you need (like olive oil), although there is salt and pepper. And if you bring a ton of cooking stuff you’ll find the biggest, cleverest pantry in the world! The house has a very calm vibe - great place to relax. Hope to be back sometime. It’s a fun town!
We are long time Door County goers and usually stay further up the peninsula. We were not disappointed with this property and the owner was great to work with.
So much to do just a short walk up the street, you can swim in the backyard, and the view of the marina is great! Have to mention that it's almost unheard of to have 3 king beds...our guests loved that! We would most definitely reccomend.
We absolutely loved our stay in Door County. The property was located in a very desirable location, and the backyard served as a great gathering place for family memories to be created! The only reason we did not give a 5-star rating is due to the expectation of Air Conditioning. There was a wall AC unit; however, the bedrooms got pretty toasty with the late afternoon sun. They would cool down nicely in the late evening hours as the temps dipped. Overall, it was a great stay and a very accommodating & responsive property manager.
