We stayed here during a race weekend at Road America (20 minute drive). The house was very comfortable and the artwork throughout was a big plus for us. It was a joy to stay in such a lovingly restored house with modern touches such as a large glass-enclosed shower in the en-suite bathroom. We would definitely stay here again!
House was incredible. Plenty of room for all 6 guests. Beautiful furnishings and well equipped with everything you could need. Excellent location. 2 blocks through a beautiful historical district to the beach. Just a few block the other direction to a great assortment of local restaurants, shops and parks. Ted did a great job making us feel at home and gave some good recommendations on dinners. It was still warm enough outside that we were able to rent bikes and ride around town. A great town complimented with a great place to stay.
Great house, loved everything. Great location to the lake and other. Was stocked with everything we needed and more. Very clean, we had not a single issue. The kids loved it. The house had a lot of charm, nice decor and the kitchen was awesome. Would highly recommend.
Sheboygan and the historic district is about 12 miles east of the track and often overlooked for track events but only a short drive away, many dining options, fabulous Lake Michigan and District homes. Owner has done a wonderful job restoring and upgrading classic property in quiet neighborhood. Don't miss!!!
The only thing lovelier than the house was our host, Ted. He had a list of activities we would be interested in waiting on our arrival. You can tell how much Ted loves this house. The house is updated with higher end appliances while keeping the historic charm. The fascinating artwork throughout the house something to take the time to look at. The location is perfection. A short walk to the beach or up to the park for the Farmer's Market. Very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and spotless from top to bottom makes this house a must rent. We hope to be back nect summer!
My mom, sister and I stayed here for 3 nights for a relaxing weekend of being disconnected. This home was perfect for what we wanted. Its absolutely beautiful, full of character (and fantastic art), cozy and super clean. Our 2nd night it stormed all evening and we loved being able to sit out on the huge front porch, sipping wine and watching the rain. The owners live next door and bundled up in rain coats and stopped over to visit for a couple minutes while we were hanging out on the porch. Very pleasant people, welcoming and kind. The rooms are spacious, plenty of bathroom space (phenomenal shower in the master!), and lots of lounging areas. The kitchen was perfect as well and had everything we needed to stay in and cook. Beds were super comfy too! We had absolutely no issues throughout our stay and truly enjoyed ourselves.
Highly recommend!
This property is amazing! My sisters and our husbands traveled from out of state to meet family at a race event at nearby Road America. We'd never been to Sheboygan before. This home is perfectly located near everything! Perched on top of hill in an amazingly quiet, historic neighborhood, it is a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Road America was a quick drive away. The house itself is an historic showpiece; with all original woodwork and details, immaculately renovated with timeless and modern features. It is gorgeously old without feeling old. The house is packed with local art, giving it a fun vibe. It was spotless. All of the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas are very large and completely stocked, all spotlessly clean. Even the parking area was spotless! There was ample toilet paper, coffee, sugars, creamer- there were even to-go coffee cups provided! We lacked for nothing. Ted was a great host and provided us with restaurant recommendations. Breakfast at Field to Fork was fantastic. If you can't tell, we had a fantastic time and the house made the stay all the more fantastic. Highly recommend this one.
Our Stay at this home was truly delightful. It was a perfect place to gather with our grown kids and their spouses. We walked to downtown and then to the Lake front. Sitting on the front porch in early evening was such a treat. The owners were wonderful and so easy to work with. We highly recommend this home for your future stay in Sheboygan.
The property was lovely. It was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our visit to the area to attend the race at Road America. Ted was helpful and great. We will be back and would recommend the house and neighborhood to anyone!
I highly recommend this delightful house. A great stay on all levels - (1) located in a scenic, quiet neighborhood walking distance to lake, outdoor spots, and the historic district. (2) Meticulously restored and maintained, with a balance of modern comforts, historic charm, and art. (3) Owners nearby and have a wealth of knowledge about local history and art to share. It’s rare to find lodging that exceeds the images and expectations, but this house does - a real gem along the Wisconsin lakeshore for anyone traveling the area. We will be back.
Lovingly restored craftsman home, beautiful furnishings and artwork, modern comforts, short walk to Lake Michigan, safe quiet neighborhood. Will stay again!
This house is welcoming and full of character. Spacious rooms, updated baths and well-stocked kitchen. Great location and felt like a home away from home. Ted was an incredible host and communicated in a timely fashion providing all information needed (In our opinion, he went over and above with added details such as list of local restaurants and destinations and he even shipped back items left by our children!) Can't say enough about the great trip and place to stay - we will be back!
