Away from the hustle and bustle with a fantastic view over the Rhine Valley, you can enjoy a relaxing holiday with us in the Appenzellerland. Our house is situated on the hillside of the famous vantage point "St. Anton" between Trogen AR and Oberegg AI. Both villages can be reached by car in 10 minutes. A post bus stop is in the immediate vicinity. The rustically and cosily furnished holiday home offers you a modern kitchen, a living room with terrace and two simple bedrooms on the upper floor. A spacious garden with plenty of sunshine and far-reaching views invites you to relax. Various hiking and biking trails are waiting to be discovered in the surrounding area. There are countless possibilities for excursions: a visit to the Biedermeier village of Heiden, a round trip with the Witzweg, two mountain railways and a boat, a visit to the market town of Altstätten or a stroll through Appenzell, in summer Lake Constance beckons for a swim and St. Gallen with its UNESCO World Heritage Site is also not far away. As you can see, it's worth staying with us! Our farm is right next to the holiday home. This gives children the opportunity to gain an insight into farm life. Other sports and leisure activities: On request, you can apply for the Oskar Card free of charge from August to December 2020 for stays of 2 nights or more. With this card, mountain railways, train journeys, boat trips and many other excursion destinations in Eastern Switzerland are free of charge, a detailed overview can be found at www.oskarferien.ch. The only thing you need to do is send an email to the landlady with the names of all travellers three days before your arrival. The landlady can then prepare the map for you and you can start your journey of discovery through Eastern Switzerland straight away.
