True Ski-In/Ski-Out Home in Copper Mountain's Lewis Ranch - Sleeps 24
Welcome to our home in Copper Mountain's exclusive, gated Lewis Ranch community. With true ski-in/ski-out access, six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and room for up to 24 guests, it's a place where families and friends can gather, relax, and enjoy everything Copper Mountain has to offer.
From ski days in the winter to hiking, mountain biking, golf, and exploring Copper Mountain in the summer, there's no better place to come home to than the warmth of a fire, the hot tub, or a game of pool with family and friends. Whether you're planning an annual ski trip, celebrating a special occasion, or simply spending time together in the mountains, the home's layout gives everyone plenty of space to be together without ever feeling crowded.
We've enjoyed sharing our home with families for many years and have been fortunate to welcome many guests back year after year. We hope you'll love it as much as we do.
The Home:
The main living level is where everyone usually ends up after a day exploring the mountains. Whether you're preparing dinner, watching a game, or simply relaxing by the fire, the open layout makes it easy to spend time together. The soaring timber ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and stone fireplace create a warm, inviting space in every season.
The kitchen has everything needed to cook for a large group, with two oversized islands where everyone seems to end up while meals are being prepared. One island is perfect for meal prep, while the other comfortably seats up to 10, making it a favorite spot for breakfast before heading out for the day or appetizers before dinner. The kitchen is equipped with premium Wolf, Sub-Zero, and Cove appliances, generous counter space, a large walk-in pantry, and a dining table for eight, making it easy for everyone to pitch in, whether you're preparing a quick meal or cooking a holiday dinner together. If you'd rather leave the cooking to someone else, we're happy to recommend an outstanding private chef.
One of the things we love most about the house is that everyone can spend the day a little differently. Some head to the slopes first thing in the morning, while others relax by the fire, enjoy a movie, read a book, or simply take in the mountain views. By the end of the day, everyone finds their way back together.
Step outside onto the heated patio to grill, relax in an Adirondack chair, or soak in the private hot tub while taking in the mountain air. The ski room is located just inside the patio, making it easy to come in, store your gear, and warm up before settling in for the evening.
Whether you're carrying luggage, groceries, or ski gear—or just getting used to the altitude—the elevator makes it easy to get around the house. You'll also find laundry rooms on three different floors, making it simple to keep up with ski clothes, towels, and everything that comes with traveling with a large group.
The House:
The home is spread across four floors, giving everyone plenty of space to be together while still offering quiet places to relax. The layout makes it easy for everyone to settle in comfortably, no matter what brings you to Copper Mountain. The fourth floor is dedicated entirely to the Bird's Nest primary suite, creating a quiet retreat with beautiful mountain views.
The third floor is the heart of the home, with the great room, kitchen, dining area, ski room, girls' bunk room, and hot tub all on the same level. It's where mornings begin over coffee and evenings end gathered around the fireplace.
The second floor is home to three guest suites and the game room, where a friendly game of pool, a poker tournament, or simply catching up with family and friends often keeps the evening going a little longer.
The first floor is home to the boys' bunk room, media room with a 100-inch screen, and a full bathroom just outside the bunk room. It's a great place to unwind with a movie after a day outdoors or simply relax at the end of the day.
Bedrooms:
The bedrooms were designed with large groups in mind. Four private suites give couples and adults their own place to unwind, while the two custom queen-over-queen bunk rooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements without sacrificing comfort. In total, the home comfortably sleeps up to 24 guests.

Ski-In / Ski-Out:
One of our favorite things about staying here is how easy it makes a day on the mountain. Start the morning with coffee or mimosas while everyone gets ready, then grab your skis or snowboard, step outside onto the heated patio, and head down Kokomo Run. From there, you can ride Kokomo Express or continue over to Woodward Express to explore the rest of Copper Mountain.
At the end of the day, ski or ride right back to the house, put your skis or snowboard on the rack, step into the ski room to kick off your boots—and you're done. With guest lockers, storage for skis and snowboards, and a nearby full bathroom, it's one of those little conveniences that make a big difference after a full day on the mountain. Before you know it, you're relaxing by the fire or soaking in the hot tub while everyone else makes their way back.
If someone in your group isn't skiing that day, getting around Copper is easy. The free shuttle stops right at the house, making it easy to head into the village for shopping, lunch, or to meet up with the rest of your group.
About Your Stay:

The house is absolutely stunning and so much fun with all it has to offer. We loved the media and game room. We also love that it is a true ski in and ski out property and the ski school is easy to get to. This was our second time renting the property and we will be back!
Our group of 11 had an amazing stay!! The property has everything you possibly need - kitchen is well stocked and fun to cook in. The game room, theater and hot tub were a big hit. It was nice having 3 sets of laundry units and a “ski room” to store gear. Thankfully we got about 10 inches of snow during our stay which made skiing a blast! Hope to go back again!!
Great house and location. Owner, David, was very helpful and available for any and all questions. If you are going on a family ski vacation this is the place to stay with great ski in/out access and amenities.
12 members of our family ages ranging from 5-65 met at this property for our annual ski trip. We’ve never stayed at a more convenient spot. The host was super helpful as well
The house is absolutely stunning and well maintained! We could not believe how incredible it was from simply being able to walk right onto the slopes to the movie theater and the hot tub. This has been by far our most favorite skiing vacation home ever. We can’t wait to come back!!!!
Great 6 bedroom property with ski in and out to Kokomo a great run for our kids to get up to speed before taking on the mountain! We were very comfortable with the 16 family members that made the trip!
We had around 20 folks stay shortly before Christmas and the house was wonderful. The open kitchen/dining/family room accommodated our large group well and made for a fun, together, atmosphere. Skiing was great, and the house was so convenient to the ski school, and the ski-in, ski-out made getting on the slopes a breeze.
Spectacular large house with real ski in/ski out facilities. Nice rooms, great kitchen and other amenities like movie room, ski room and steam showers. Communication with David was clear and fast and all requests were solved promptly. We had a great time in this house with all of our family!
Fantastic house. Beautiful on the inside. Ski directly to back door, hot tub, then down to lift.
Easy to rent. No hidden fees. Very upfront.

AMAZING
Beautiful home!
We spent Spring break with our adult children, spouses and 7 grandchildren. Plenty of room to spread out. Truly ski in/out.
We will be back.
Awesome stay. Dave is an amazing host. Beautiful property.
There's not a thing you can say negatively about this home. They met every need we had. We have always wanted to say there. Now we have set the standard for this type of stay, need to see what is available next year. :)
The house was perfect for our multi family vacation. There was plenty of room for 4 couples and many kids. The large kitchen with ever gadget made it easy to cook meals. We loved playing games around the long dining room table. The hot tub and theater was a fun extra bonus! Copper is a great place to stay if you want to explore other towns close by! We will book this house again!

Perfect House
We could not have enjoyed our vacation in any other house. The elevator makes the whole house accessible for those with walkers and wheelchairs. It is an amazingly built home with every amenity imaginable. It is located close to several places that are must sees....Frisco, Breckenridge, and Vail. The owners are extremely nice and very accommodating. You will not regret a stay at Copper Mountain.
We had guests and family of all ages and this house was perfect for our ski vacation. The ski-in ski-out feature, the hot tub, the ski room, etc. made for a very enjoyable day on the slopes. After each busy day, everyone had privacy yet the open floor plan of the living, dining, and kitchen provided plenty of space for us to gather. We will definitely return to Copper and look forward to staying in David’s beautiful home again. Wonderful communication and any issues were handled quickly and completely. Thanks for a memorable week!!
Ages four to sixty-four and we all enjoyed the stay! House was perfect for our group!
We have skied in many places before, but this was our first time at Copper Mountain. All levels of skiing ability thoroughly enjoyed the mountain. The house was perfectly located. The shuttle transportation was very easy to use and made getting around a breeze.
David was very responsive to all of our needs and questions and even provided us a great recommendation for a chef while we were there. Highly recommend the house and the mountain. We hope to be back soon!.
This property was incredible. The house is even bigger in person and was the perfect spot for our group of 20. The layout of the house provided each individual family privacy with fridges, coffee, wet bars and bathrooms in several rooms. Each floor having a washer/dryer made it so easy also! The game room and hot tub were also highlights. The kitchen was remarkable having every single appliance imaginable for large group meals. We had a very memorable time here and are already planning our next trip back. David was an excellent host and very prompt with his responses when we communicated with him. We can’t recommend this place enough!
I can't express how great our stay at this home was. There were 13 of us who stayed at this home and we had plenty of room to gather and roam. David is an awesome host and gave very detailed. He was quick to respond to any of our questions or needs both before and during our stay. The kitchen was very well stocked with supplies and spices, etc. Some chose to ski in, others slid down on their behinds due to not being comfortable with the slope. Both ways worked and we really liked being able to ski and go home as we pleased. We really appreciated the instant and continous hot water! This was our first trip to Copper Mountain and we'll definitely contact David to stay again when we return!

About the host

I am a long time resident of Norman, Oklahoma. I have two grown children who still love to ski and snowboard. We come to Copper whenever possible and love the convenience of staying in Lewis Ranch. You will deal directly with me. I do not use a management company. I enjoy the home 6-8 times per year and keep the home well maintained and up to date.
Why they chose this property
We have been skiing Copper since the late 80's and keep coming back. We bought a condo in Center Village in 2005, but when an opportunity to buy a custom home in Slopeside in Lewis Ranch came up, we took the leap. The house turned out as amazing as we thought it would. Being in the gated community of Lewis Ranch has obvious advantages, while still being close to the action of the village. Being able to ski on/off of the patio or beginning an immediate mountain hike without driving is priceless.
What makes this property unique
We love being secluded in the gated community of Lewis Ranch, while still being able to walk down into the village to enjoy a great meal, ice cream, ice skating, shopping, or any multitude of available activities in the village. We love owning our own land with the mountains as our back yard.. Most of all, we love being directly on the slopes.
