About this property
Hawks Nest Treehouse Secluded With Hot Tub
Please read all of the description. This treehouse only has an attached out house and outdoor shower only! Please note: we do not allow children or pets! No smoking!
There is a hike to get to the treehouse. It’s a bit steep. We have added large gravels to give you some extra grip. There is no way to get your car right down to it. There is a driveway and you will see it marked where to park. It’s not a far hike and it’s pretty easy trek for most. It’s approximately 50 steps from where you park and the walk to treehouse. Just be aware and wear proper foot attire. Can be slick after rain. If you are arriving at dark, path way is lit up by string lights but being this is in middle of woods, it’s still pretty dark. Bring a flashlight with you. Just be careful and watch your step!
I cannot stress this enough!! This is the woods. I spray the treehouse inside and out monthly but it’s still the woods. There are insects and all sorts of wildlife. If you are scared of bugs and creatures, this isn’t the place for you.
.I DO NOT supply firewood but you are welcome to use any you gather from the property. If it’s wet, it be best to bring your own. Food city sells bundles for $8 and is pretty close to treehouse.
Please bring charcoal and lighter fluid if you plan on grilling. I do not supply that.
We are set up for normal housekeeping and supply a roll of toilet paper to get you thru your 1st night, soap, shampoo, conditioner and a few kcups as well as stevia and liquid creamer. Towels are provided for inside sink, shower and hot tub. 1 per person each for hot tub and shower. White towels are for hot tub.
Black towels for shower.
This is a smoke free environment. No kids, no pets
Please be respectful of our property and the other guest at Coyote’s Cabin which sits off in the distance. Sound carries in the woods.
The shower is outdoor shower only and then off from it is a composting primitive toilet and sink. The bathroom is enclosed but it’s on the outside of the cabin but attached. You do have to go outside to get to it. Instructions will be posted on how to use toilet. Please be mindful that it’s cold in the winter at times and the water from the shower can freeze on the deck so be careful when going to the bathroom area
Treehouse does have heat and air, small fridge (see pic) kureig type coffee pot and microwave. I do supply plates, cups, bowls, glasses, silverware, knives and grilling utensils. The bed is a comfy queen size with a memory foam mattress. We have a charcoal outdoor grill. There is also a large cooler provided for you at the treehouse.
The front of the treehouse is all windows and we do not have curtains. Cabin faces the East. We have no intention of keyword is hustleville adding any window coverings. Your view is completely private
