This was a perfect place for two! Many conveniences with plenty of kitchen items, bathroom amenities and comfortable accommodations. It is located close to everything, plenty of things to do nearby.
My daughter and I had a fabulous stay! Super close to everything, easy access, super clean and warm and welcoming! Everything we needed for a great ski weekend!
It was a beautiful space and very cozy for two. We had a great anniversary weekend. It was well stocked with everything you might need and there were helpful notes throughout the apartment. Overall it was a great place to stay.
The property manager always answered immediately if I had a question, the apartment was adorable, and stocked with the essentials. This was our first time using vrbo and it was a very positive experience. Couldn't be happier!
It was a fine location. We stay a VBRO's to save money on food. You definitely need to replace the 2 fry pans, they don't even sit flat on the stove, and the teflon is peeling off the one. That was the only negative to the stay.
Nice wooded setting. Quiet and nicely decorated. Bed was on small side for 2 adults (probably full size bed) - topping made the full size bed a few inches less wide and we prefer a stiffer mattress. No dishwasher but otherwise well stocked kitchen area. Location a little to find but can be found - listing doesn't really show the correct location unless I was missing something there. Very warm electric fire place and it looked like there was a space heater in the bedroom. We didn't need the space heater because the heating system was fine. No local channels on TV but many Roku options. Heather (owner) was responsive and helpful. No hot tub (we knew that from the description) - but our joints would liked that because we down hill ski. Very good location for skiing at Boyne mountain. Saw a picnic table by side of unit outside - would be useful in non winter months. Overall, a very nice place, good location, quiet, peaceful, nice owners, and we enjoyed our stay.
Great location, clean apartment, property owner responded quickly. Would definitely return

About the host

Getting to know people & reading are my favorite hobbies. My husband and I really enjoy Northern Michigan and it’s wonderful walking trails in the summer( a.k.a. snowshoeing trails in the winter). We have five children that love to swim, ski and keep us hopping. Our favorite restaurant is The Barrel Back found in Walloon Lake Village. It sits above the lake so you can watch the boats or snowmobilers come in depending on the season. I enjoy hosting the rental and hope that guests will find everything they need at the apartment and have a pleasant stay.
