Welcome to our cozy getaway right in the heart of action-packed Hunter Mountain. Just a quick walk to the slopes and the base lodges. Cozy Trailside Retreat gives you year round mountain access!

Stay with us during ski season and avoid the hassle of the parking lots / locker rooms / expensive lunches in crowded cafeterias. Come home for lunch and hot chocolate... Return to the slopes anytime!

Watch some Netflix, rest on a memory foam mattress, gather in the kitchen and living room. Enjoy! The space can comfortably accommodate one large family or two small families (Ideally 4 to 6 adults maximum only)

We are sorry, the fireplace is not for use. Please do not use or touch the fireplace. It’s not working and for safety reasons and is disabled.

Great Place

Great place to stay with a family including small children. Very close to slopes (5 minute walk). Clean. Responsive host. The only downside is the restaurants are not very good in town, so stock up at Tops before staying - but the kitchen was great!

Long weekend getaway

Well appointed with a reasonable walk to the slopes. It was nice to have spices, paper towels, detergent already there (even though we packed this-many places don’t offer this!). The only downfall was not enough towels (6 bath towels, 2 hand towels) but we had a last minute change of people staying due a health issue I had. Kevin was great with communication with our last minute shift in who would be staying there. Enjoyable weekend for family & friends!

Second time here ...Great place!

Really nice place! Clean, well stocked, large enough living area so that we didn't feel crowded. Great location, beautiful view right on porch.

Great time at the Retreat

We had a great trip to Hunter and our stay at the cozy Retreat was perfect. The place was exactly as pictured, very clean and cozy, and walking distance to the slopes. The only negative was that the fireplace didnt work, we would have loved to have that on when we came back from skiing. Otherwise everything was great and we would definitely return.

Hi! my name is Kevin and I welcome you to come and enjoy our beautiful cozy condo at Hunter Mountain! My family and I love to ski during the winter months and go hiking/horseback riding during the warmer months, so Hunter NY is perfect for us.

Why they chose this property

The floor plan of our place is perfectly designed with an open concept and two large bedrooms including one master en-suite. It comes with all of the upgrades you're expecting in a luxury space; stainless steel and granite in the kitchen and tiled showers and floors in both baths.

What makes this property unique

You can park your car for the duration of your stay for free at the condo complex. Once there getting around is easy you can ski or walk down to the main lodge to purchase your tickets and start skiing/riding.

Catch the last lift ride up at the end of the day and ski as far down the south side of the mountain until you reach the little bridge that takes you over the creek and home to the condo.

Don’t worry if you end up at the lodge with no lift back up you can walk back up to the condo it just may not be that much fun after a long day on the slopes. So try to catch that last lift up!

Hunter Mountain is home to four wonderful seasons, each with their own array of actives. Come stay at the Cozy Hunter Trailside Retreat to experience your favorite time of year.
