Located at the mountain base in front of the lifts with spectacular mountain views and direct village access, this luxury townhome boasts expansive square footage and a wood-burning fireplace. Great Location, Filthy and Beat Up - No Stars

We showed up to this property filthy from the former renters, 2 days of garbage in the kitchen, dirty dishes, sinks, bathrooms, piles of laundry, beds not stripped or made with no clean sheets. The rugs were filthy and had to be vacuumed. The property management said they were having issues with their cleaning service as to why no one showed up to clean. What I find interesting as they didn't know for 48 hours the place had not been cleaned until we checked-in. This was suppose to be my birthday weekend with my family and I had to clean and do laundry to make the place some what presentable for my family. We have rented other condos in the same property that were impeccable and worth the money, due to the amazing location in the village and steps from the mountain. We chose this place based on previous experience and the accessibility with to young children learning to ski and snow board. Its sad this property needs some tender loving care. The closest are full of random stuff and there is no soap, shampoo, cleaning supplies and laundry soap is minimal to none. I requested for one hour early check-in and no one responded to me and we showed up to a mess. We ended up having an amazing weekend of skiing and snowboarding, regardless of showing up to a filthy home.

VACASA is TERRIBLE.

I stayed in this unit several times this season. At no time is there anything resembling rental assistance. The place is minimally cleaned between stays, dangerous, in term of live wires hanging about and lighting hanging from the ceiling, and always garbage left on decks and under furniture, and was always missing provisions listed in the description agreement. One weekend when we arrived there, there were no parking passes, one key, no TV, and the place was very dirty. There were dead bugs everywhere, food rotting in the oven, no firewood, and the place stunk of cigarettes. We left and went home that weekend. And VACASA refused to refund. Luckily my credit card company took our money back. Any time we have tried to contact rental management, our phone calls went to ineffective overseas call centers that could not understand, let alone assist with any problems. DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM VACASA. IF YOU ARE THE OWNER OF THIS UNIT FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME. Terrible.

Great location but could use some updates

This property is in a great location, right in the village with easy access to the lifts and restaurants etc. The location does come with some extra noise due to activity in the village but that is what you would expect being there. We would suggest updating the instructions for finding the unit to say something like use the stairs to the left of the parking garage and then cross the village and use the set of stairs to the right of Stratton Clothing Company. We would also suggest leaving extra trash bags and instructions on where to dispose of trash and recycling. The television was nice but there was no cable and an error message displayed when we tried to use any app for programming.

Location, Location, Location!!!

Steps to the lifts. We only stayed during the week, I can see it being really noisy on the weekend. It got loud after the bar across the way closed. The only issue was the parking pass was not left for us. When I call Vacasa I was told they would have one dropped off, nobody showed up. We parked anyway and left a note, nobody bothered us. The house was advertised having two single beds. The only single was the top bunk. Look at the pictures to see the bed layout. Lastly the house is a basic rental had some wear but it was just fine to meet our needs.

Great location

I picked for location and I expected it to be a bit noisy outside at night which was fine. It was a spacious unit in the village. To note, only TV apps so, no ability to watch live NFL games on CBS or ESPN sports on the TVs so, no regular cable.
