On the lake AND in the heart of Downtown Eufaula. Walk to shops, dining and the Yoholo Micco Trail from this great location. This historic home was built in 1882 and served as Eufaula's original town jail prior to its restoration as a city park and now a residential home. Eufaula's "Old Town Jail" is currently listed on the national register of historic places and is one of many historic structures in the town of Eufaula. Beautifully restored and renovated, the home still contains its original features, but includes all the modern amenities and comforts. You will not find a more fascinating and charming home than this, and the location can't be beat! Two bedrooms and 1 bath with 1200 sq feet of living space. Several boat launches located within minutes, and plenty of room to park your vehicles and boat. Dogs are welcome with a $50 non-refundable pet fee. Providence Canyon, AKA the Little Grand Canyon of Georgia is approx 20 miles away.

This is such a charming spot to relax with a beautiful lake view! This old jail is full of interesting architecture and the coolest door ever. Plenty of towels and a very comfy bed. Host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

I would like to clarify a few of my gradings. The communication with the owner was just okay because we didn’t have to make any. We checked in and out with the directions and weren’t too needy to where we had to reach out. I will say because you have to enter through the back it can come off a little sketch in regards to “looking like the pics” The lake view is roped off, the trees hang down over you when entering, there’s a HUGE spider chilling by the stairs .. but impressive, and the plant life around the building has grown up around the property so it’s not exactly what the pic would look like. The inside was great, the town was nice, and providence canyon state park was I just wanted to be clear about some of points in the rating Awesome experience
