This custom-built cabin sits on one of the most desirable lots on the lake: wide waterfront, gentle slope to the water (no stairs to climb), and a large, private yard surrounded by tall pines.

Buck Creek Cabin was designed to bring the outdoors in—and give you every reason to stay outside.

Cozy, Thoughtful Interior
The cabin features light oak wood walls and high ceilings, and an open studio-style layout designed for function and comfort.

• Loft with two additional beds (ladder access; may not suit small children or seniors)

• Table, seating, and electric fireplace

Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Put used towels in bathroom hang over shower door or on hooks, wash dishes and leave to dry on towel on counter, put all items back in original places
Unplug coffee maker, close blinds/curtains, turn off AC/ht and lights, close/lock doors, take trash to dumpster by street
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Very nice little cabin. Neatly designed. It was almost too windy to fish on the boat so we enjoyed fishing from the dock. In the afternoons and caught enough to cook one night at the cabin and to bring home for another fish fry. We enjoyed it.

This little hideaway cabin was perfect!!! So welcoming, clean, and had all the accommodations we needed for a long weekend! We took our dog and she was very comfortable being there and loved all the outside room to explore! The view from the pier was absolutely stunning we set and watched the sunset every evening! We brought our boat to enjoy the lake, was so nice to have a place to park it at the property without having to haul it everyday! Definitely recommend this cozi cabin!! Host was amazing at communicating and quick to respond to all my question! Thank you again for sharing your property with us

Why they chose this property

I love this lake with the clear water and sandy beaches and tall Georgia pine trees and the surrounding Alabama Hills - the lake is Ideal for swimming, boating and really great GREAT fishing!!

What makes this property unique

The cabin is right on the water with large private covered dock and boat slip, electric and lights - it provides great fishing and the most amazing sunsets over the water! Great swimming and boating and nature watching and star gazing! You can sit on the covered dock and enjoy a summer rain shower - float on rafts and enjoy music from the ipod player that is provided. Dock is large enough for the whole family to enjoy - the lights provide great night fishing. I've had guests that love the dock so much they have slept several nights on it!

Buck Creek Cabin is a rejuvenating - relaxing - escape "off grid" from busy stressful living place - hear the wind in the pines - the birds of all kinds - warm sun in the day and cozy fire and star gazing at night!

Buck Creek Cabin is amazing all year long - the FALL COLOR here is gorgeous - take walks and see deer - BUCKS - many in the woods - warm in the sun on the dock and watch for Bald Eagles, Geese, Egrets, and many other birds fly by, see otters in the water.

There is a short mild winter when you can take hikes and cozy up the the firepit and some campfire stories or soft romantic music.

Spring is beautiful and not hot and fish are BITING! Summer time is swimming and boating - boat to Goose Island just few minutes away and enjoy this sandy island and all the other boaters - it's a BIG FUN SUMMERTIME PARTY!!!!
