Dog Friendly - Beach Bungalow- Locally owned/operated. Inspected at each turnover. Three bedroom charmer set between two access points. Ocean views. Gas grill, outdoor seating, sand chairs and more. Half a block to beach access. Check-out time is 9:30am. Thermostats are locked at 72 degrees to ensure units are not overloaded in the summer.

Dogs: There is a a non-refundable $100 pet fee (2 dog max). A large crate can be provided if requested at the time of reservation.
Any dog found in or around a dog friendly property, that has not paid the pet fee, is a ground for expedited tenant eviction, forfeiture of all monies paid, and a non-declared pet fee of DOUBLE the normal pet free per pet, at the sole discretion of property owner.

Everything about our stay was perfect. It was such a treat to be able to bring our dogs with us. This is a great location with a beautiful ocean view that makes you feel like you’re at the beach even when you’re inside. The queen beds are very comfortable and the window treatments are really nice for letting in or blocking light depending on what you want. The kitchen is small, with small appliances, but it was well stocked and met our needs. The property manager was so helpful and responsive too. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect

We had the best week staying at the Posh Pelican! Michelle is a wonderful owner who was available any time we needed her! She checked in on us to make sure we didn't need anything; brought us an extra wagon to use, a new shibumi, & a little surprise for our son! The house was super clean & had everything we needed. We will always recommend her & her properties & can't wait to stay again!

Cozy beach house

This beach house is beautifully decorated, clean, and just a short walk to the beach. It was perfect for our stay and hostess Michelle's communication and attentiveness is exceptional. Highly recommend!

Family Getaway

Property was as described. We did have adults in our party and the bunk beds were a little uncomfortable for my adult son, but he made the best of it. Not having box springs made it a bit uncomfortable. Overall, the location was great, beach was beautiful and and we had a great time!

Perfect for us and the pooch

The property was as described and location was close to the beach. Michelle was a gracious host and checked in to see that all was ok. We had a slight mixup on day of arrival but she made a special trip to see that lights were on for us. The yard is large for our dog to run but sandy- hey, it’s the beach A 5 star stay for Judy and I. Would stau there again.

Perfect little beach house. Practically oceanfront.

What a perfect home for a small family stay. This house is renovated and clean!! All the amenities for cooking, cleaning, laundry and spending time with the family is here at the house. Can see the ocean from the awesome front porch. We enjoyed dinners at the family size table overlooking the ocean.Back yard is fenced in for pets to run and play. Check in was so easy and communication with owner is 5 star. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Topsail island!

Practically front row

We had a great time at the beach and the views from this house were practically front row. The property was very clean and well equipped with all the basics as well as paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc. The tv's were new with lots of streaming options and the wifi was fast. Fenced yard was great for our dogs and the beach accesses were very close. The location was just far enough from the main tourist area that it was quiet but close enough so that groceries were only 5-10 minutes away.

Christmas at the beach

We decided to escape the north for a beach Christmas. The host Michelle was kind enough to decorate the house for us. The house was very beachy and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need for cooking and baking. The house is across a small road from the beach and has amazing views of the ocean from the living room and deck. The beach access is very close. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Ocean View

This is a perfect beach house! You have an ocean view from the deck and even sitting on the couch. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the ocean. It’s comfortable and roomy and clean and neat. Michelle is a wonderful host and fully responsive. Towels, sheets, comforters and extra pillows and the kitchen had everything. The price was right. We will definitely be back 100%. I can’t say enough. Loved it!

Wonderful human and pet friendly getaway!

Michelle was the most wonderful hostess! We had access to everything we needed for the adults, the teens, and our four legged friends. Michelle went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The home is exactly as described and it may as well be oceanfront. You can relax and see the ocean from the balcony. We enjoyed most of our meals there. It was really convenient to have the outdoorh shower downstairs too so we didn’t have to deal with sand everywhere. The neighborhood appeared safe and all of our neighbors seemed very friendly. This was our first stay at Michelle’s property and our first time to Surf City. We will definitely be back!

Great Beach Cottage

My husband, my Jack Russell Terrier, and I stayed here mid-April 2023 for an extended weekend and had a fabulous time! The cottage was easily accessible, with plenty of parking, and had a spacious outside composite deck (can walk barefoot :)). Polywood seating made eating, drinking, and relaxing on the deck so easy and comfortable! The interior is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and well-stocked with much-used items (plenty of towels, plenty of plates/silverware, etc.). 2 full bathrooms for my husband and I to not have to share, in house laundry so no need to leave to launder, full size fridge/oven. The view is spectacular and the walk to the beach is quick with multiple public access points in both directions. All rooms have Roku tv, internet speed is lightning (yes, my husband measured it!), and the furniture is quite comfortable. The backyard has a full stockade fence; however, it does not have access to the front, so we had to leash our dog to get there and bring our flashlight when she needed to go out in the dark. The owner was extremely welcoming, responsive, and attentive. We would highly recommend this cottage and will be looking to return as soon as we can! Thanks for a super stay!

Repeat Rental

Repeat renter and I’m telling you, don’t scroll past this place! (but please don’t book it for the weeks I want it ). It took me few years of experimenting with different locations and rental agencies, then I found this place. Love it. Perfect location, close enough to wherever you want to go, far enough away to be a truly peaceful little neighborhood. Clean, plenty of amenities, well appointed and comes with a highly responsive owner (not that I’ve ever needed anything).

This place is wonderful with a great view and numerous amenities. Really enjoyed the weekend and the quiet rest after a beautiful day at the beach, which is easily accessible. Owner is easy to reach and extremely helpful. Lovely stay!

Spring Break

We went for spring break with my wife, two kids, and our dog and the house did not disappoint. Great location, the house was clean and had everything we needed. Communication was great and would recommend and stay there again!
