All 7 Rhode Island beaches await you, where admission is free but if you plan to park, you will need to purchase a parking pass. If you bring your bike you won't care, when you can easily ride to several gorgeous beaches including Charlestown Breachway! You can also use the ORCA private beach on Green Hill Pond (great for kayaking). Versatile vacation spot

Excellent stay. Even with the poor weather, this home and host did not disappoint. The space is exceptionally clean, lots of great recommendations, and got the kids’ February break off to a great start. Will definitely be returning!

Great vacation for the family

The property is great. It's close to many beaches, it was very clean, was furnished with everything we needed, and the back porch was awesome. We ate on the porch for all of our meals as it was roomy and we always had a nice breeze. We're looking forward to staying again.

Lovely getaway!

Great property, comfortable, cute, clean, amazing screened in porch, can bike to several beaches, or take a drive along the coast to beaches and small towns. Kitchen is well equipped and beds comfy. It was a perfect reunion spot for four friends, and the owner was wonderful and helpful.

We really enjoyed staying at this quiet home not far from the beach. Everything was totally as listed, and the owner was lovely and easy to communicate with. The screen porch is so breezy and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

We just had a wonderful week at this property. The house was clean and everything worked properly. I slept in the master bedroom and it was very comfortable! The screened in porch is just heaven. The owner was very responsive. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Home Away From Home

The property was perfect for our family over the Thanksgiving weekend. It had everything we needed. Communication with the host was seamless. Only regret was not being able to really enjoy the gorgeous screened in living space because we visited in November - next time!!

Girls weekend

From the time we got there, we really felt like it was a home away from home. The place had everything we needed and we were able to enjoy a little bit of rainy day inside on that fabulous screen porch, outback that was the highlight of the place. the beds were comfortable, sitting area in the living room was very comfortable. The television worked fine all the supplies necessary to cook a wonderful meal were there. Don’t hesitate to rent this place for a weekend or a week. You won’t regret it.

We were only up for the weekend but the house was great, well maintained. I think my only suggestion from our group would be we like TV's in the bedrooms LOL. Would definitely rent again!

Our family loved the rental house! The pictures don't do it justice; the house was spotlessly clean and everything was well maintained, appliances and all. The kitchen was well stocked with more than just a few pots and pans, and the bedrooms were all quite comfortable. The porch in the back was also lovely, seemingly a new addition to the house. The living room and porch lamps are adjustable, so you could choose how bright you want it be. It's a comfortable drive to Newport and very close to a nearby Amtrak station in Kingston, making it convenient for meeting up via both car and public transit. The neighborhood was also nice and quiet, making this a perfect rental for a family looking to live comfortably while on vacation to Newport!

Quiet spacious property

The property was exactly as it looked in the listing and the street was nice and quiet so enjoying 3 season porch wasa easy. The air conditioners in the bedroom work great as we hit a week with high humidity and with twin toddlers they slept without issue. Charlestown beach just down the road was perfect and quick to access. We hit jitters cafe several times just around the corner and had some delicious baked goods. Point judith had some delicious sea food. It's a reasonable drive to the Roger William's Zoo and the twins had a blast. Similarly Mystic Aquarium is easily accessible and a lot of fun. If I had any complaints it would be mother nature giving us such a sticky week! But 26 days in a row is definitely not normal....

Quiet retreat with great porch 5 min to beach, bakery, ice cream, deli, and restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this charming house in a quiet neighborhood so close to the shore. We unplugged for one week and then worked from the house for a second (WiFi was great to support two on video calls but no desks so used our laps, kitchen table, and porch table). The bed and furniture were comfy, the kitchen well equipped, and the porch was awesome (mid-70’s every day). We enjoyed driving 3 min to the corner bakery each morning and then driving 2 min more to the private community beach on the salt pond to eat breakfast! Did the same each night (getting ice cream from a small shop next to the Bakery). Enjoyed sandwiches from the deli in between the two, and dinners from the restaurant across the street from them. Location was great! Also- only a 20 min drive to Point Judith and the Block Island Ferry, and 5 min drive to the Theatre-by-the-sea. Liz checked up one us once to be sure we were fine, which was appreciated. The house is just as advertised and we had a great stay!
