The place was clean. It was extremely spartan. Probably ok for a hunter. The bathroom is too small for me, 5’6”, 165 lbs. to sit on the commode facing forward. Wall colors were dark.I have no complaints about communication with the owner or cleanliness but the actual place was very disappointing.

I guess some people expect a Taj Mahal experience for $78 a night. At least he recognized that we have clean rooms…sigh ..
It was a nice place to stay. Very clean and a great location. It was a very small place which was perfect for us. The bathroom was a little tight but overall a great stay!
This was just what we needed for our stay at Land Between the Lakes. We contacted the property owner when the internet was out and he got right on it right away and got us reconnected. Only drawback was that the property is right on a busy highway going through town. But it was easy access to LBL.
Everything was as advertised. My only complaint was the slight odor of cigarette smoke. It seemed fresh, so I’m not sure if it was a recent guest or housekeeping, but it detracted from the stay. I’m sure this can be easily resolved by the property manager, but unfortunately my time was so brief I didn’t have any time to get it taken care of.

Old motel that had been updated. 2 stars.
Clean. Missing Kleenex, paper towels, bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. I bought all of those things plus hangers...there were only two.

Clean unit with a nice, big kitchen and a few appreciated perks. There was coffee for a few days, lots of coffee filters, some chips for snacks, a couple of water bottles in the "frige" and a hair dryer in the bathroom. There were some starter shampoo packages and small soaps - enough to get you started until you get to the Dollar General. The bed was comfortable. It's a good setup for the price point. The bathroom is small, but functional in a basic way. A hand-towel hook or holder and a hand-held shower head are the 2 basic improvements I would suggest as really helpful for guests and maybe a longer shower curtain. It met our needs and the price was attractive. To really up the user friendliness, I might suggest a long, maybe 18-22 inch wide 4-drawer dresser to put suitcases on and have some drawer space for the guests that like to stay for awhile.
Very Clean Room! Convenient location to access Kentucky Lake State Park boat ramp. The bathroom is very small. We look forward to staying at one of the other units at this location.
