Welcome to Glen Hideaway, with serene indoor spaces (3BR/2 bath), remodeled full kitchen, deck space, and a beautiful yard and garden overlooking majestic Glen Canyon Park, which is just 2 minutes' walk away. Balance is key: we're removed from the craze of downtown SF, but just minutes' walk from BART. Close to Glen Park shops and restaurants, but on a quiet residential street. Very much in SF, but just 15 minutes' ride from SFO Airport. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space.
The space

Located a stone’s-throw from Glen Park BART station and several other convenient transportation options, our home is the perfect retreat for those who want a base to explore the city (and beyond), but appreciate coming back to a quiet and relaxing environment.

LIVING ROOM: Stylishly appointed, with ample seating, bright workspace, and internet-connected Roku TV.

KITCHEN: Recently renovated and fully equipped with appliances, coffee machine, electric kettle, fridge, freezer and dishwasher.

BEDROOMS: 3 bright, Glen Canyon facing bedrooms with comfortable, supportive mattresses and down comforters. Ample closet space for hanging clothes. Step outside the sliding doors to your own patio facing our garden and the towering eucalyptus trees of the park in the background.

BATHROOMS: Recently remodeled bathrooms with strong water pressure. One with heated washlet toilet seat and sliding door shower, the other has a tub with jacuzzi jets.

WASHER AND DRYER in laundry room.

PARKING: Free 24/7 parking available immediately opposite the street from house. Please note street cleaning rules twice per month.

The whole house can accommodate a maximum of 7 adults.

ACCESSIBILITY CONSIDERATIONS: House is located on a hill. 10 steps lead up to entrance of upper level. Interior stairwell separates the two floors. Tub shower has anti slip mat but no grab bar.

Quiet neighborhood

We had a great stay at Glen hideaway! The property was clean. The neighborhood was quiet and was pretty easy to Uber back and forth from the Chase Center/ Fisherman’s warf/airport. The host was in contact making sure our stay was going smoothly.

Family Reunion

Kudos to Jon and his wife for allowing us to check in a bit early. We arrived after a 5 hour flight from Atlanta, not realizing we were an hour early. Jon was a gracious host, especially since he had toys for toddlers he allowed us to use. Thanks so much, J and Samatha for your hospitality!

Comfortable, convenient location

This is a lovely, safe neighborhood with restaurants and morning coffee/tea just down the hill. Canyon Market is a gem. We did everything we wanted to do in SF and loved coming back "home" to the friendly neighborhood cat. Very comfortable stay for our family of 6 60-somethings.

Great Family Location

This location was perfect for our family of 5! The house was very nice and the backyard was great and relaxing! Within walking distance to both Glen park restaurants and even closer to glen canyon park! We had a blast and the communication was great while there.

Great SF Getaway

We loved our stay in this Glen Park property. The house was perfect for the four of us, and was a great launch point for places we visited in the area. I also appreciated the frequent and responsive communication with the owner. Highly recommended all around!
