Terrific Girls’ Trip
We had a wonderful time staying at this upscale San Francisco walk-up. The pictures truly do not do it justice! All of the bathroom & kitchen amenities are top-of-the-line; and, the views from the backyard balcony & upstairs windows of the city are spectacular. There are so many thoughtful touches for entertainment & comfort provided; and, there is more than ample room to put luggage, clothing and other travel items. The owner has elected to keep nonperishable leftover grocery items & unusual bathroom supplies (foot powder?) stocked rather than discarding them. This is done in a neat & orderly fashion. But, for some this might make the space appear somewhat cluttered. And, it appears as though someone may live in the unit when it is not being rented out to VRBO customers. But, the accessible rental space is very clean. The manager was very proactive & responsive to all inquiries. Having parking available in the neighborhood is a true bonus, though the garage must be shared with the downstairs residents (so a large vehicle cannot easily be accommodated). The Mission District is vibrant, engaging all the senses; yet, the windows are very soundproof (no one had any difficulty sleeping). There was not a significant presence of the homeless population in this neighborhood at the time of our visit. Though we were a group of all women, we felt very safe. Grocery stores and other eating venues are a short drive away. We can’t say enough about this gem!!!
