Tucked away from street view, this hideaway waterfront location with three bedrooms, open family room and kitchen is perfect for entertaining or casual living. Minutes away from the "Texas Bucket List", is Top Water Grill, Gilhooley's Restaurant & Oyster Bar and the Pier 6 Seafood Restaurant. No more private dock but you can fish from our 100ft concrete bank. Fish is waiting at night and early in the morning

The house is spacious and in a great location for fishing. The yard is beautiful with picnic tables and wooden chairs. If you have a bad back bring your own seating. The inside was clean and had everything we needed. Communication was excellent!

Spacious and peaceful

Nice place with an unique view. Host very understanding, we were traveling with an 11 days grandson and let us check out late. Near the Great Wolf water park and mall. Spacious and bright, and clean.The grandkids had a blast!

Observations

If you can label all the light switches, that will be really helpful for anyone who rents your place. Extra towels such as bath towels and kitchen towels will also be a plus. The floors were a little sticky. Overall, we had a great time.

Nice home away from home

I'm a travel advisor and I didn't mention it upon booking but I was a little hesitant about booking due to only a few reviews, but I was very pleased with the size and space upon arrival. I would definitely book this property for my clients as well as my family. The house was clean and the host was the best. He communicated very well and even acknowledged and fixed some of the issues that happened while we were there. I even appreciated the option to check in early. I was in town for a family reunion and the host didn't have a problem with my family coming by. My uncle wish he had known as he stated he would have fished the entire time. I loved the option to host an event without feeling as if you are stacked on top of each other. The cutest thing happened, with a family of 10 NO ONE brought lotion but to my surprise there was a little bag of toiletries left over and it was a great hit...lol There are a few things that can be updated: The basketball goal was advertised in a better condition, but it was missing the nets but that's just normal wear and tear. Maybe a little more dusting in certain areas and some updated baking sheets. But overall I would definitely book this property again. Thanks again !!!

The bugs met us when we pulled up. There’s a ship window as you pull up to the property and it was full of bugs flying around, not on the outside but on the inside. Large flies all throughout the house. Every window had bugs flying around them and throughout the house. Small ones in the bathroom as well. It needs touchup paint and a good cleaning! So glad we weren’t given a hard time when I asked for my money back. This house made us uncomfortable in the next place we found to stay because of the bugs, and not to mention we traveled a good distance to stay here. Oh and the pier you see in the pictures isn’t for you, it’s the neighbor’s..
