Relax in our country chic chalet conveniently located minutes from skiing, world class golfing, beaches and nature preserves, with the best hiking & fishing the area has to offer. Minutes from Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski Resorts, the Maple Mountain Retreat is ideal for those looking for outdoor adventure. Golf Jack Frost National Golf Club or Split Rock Golf Course. Dine al fresco, lakeside in Lake Harmony, or venture a few miles further to the quaint town of Jim Thorpe with museums, shopping, dining, scenic train rides, white water rafting and plenty of other outdoor adventure. Tannersville is just 20 minutes away with Camelback Ski Resort and The Crossings Premium Outlets. Nearby Kalahari indoor waterpark, Nascar at Pocono Raceway or Mt. Airy Casino! The home has 3 bedrooms plus a loft space that will sleep 2-3 people. In addition to convenient home amenities like a stocked kitchen, washer & dryer, it also has a hot tub, game room, bar & fire pit. The sun deck is perfect for après ski cocktails or a sunset BBQ after a day of fun in the sun at our private lake.

The Maple Mountain Retreat was born from an annual tradition of family coming together in the Poconos for Super Bowl weekend. Puzzling, games, snowboarding/skiing, fireside cocktails, "home" cooked meals, and most of all, love and laughter. We aim to provide you with all the tools you need to make lifelong memories as we have.
Why they chose this property
Located in the "have it all" heart of the Poconos, there's something for everyone. Situated between Austin T. Blakeslee Natural are and Hickory Run State Park, Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski Resorts, there is no shortage of outdoor adventure. Hiking, fishing, snowboarding, skiing and tubing. Have a soak in our screened in hot tub after a long day of activity! In the warmer weather, enjoy a bbq on our sunny deck or take a stroll (or ride) to our private community lake, play a game of beach volleyball or a tennis match at the tennis courts located by the community center. Bring a cooler and sandwiches to the beach and set up camp-plenty of picnic tables to make a day of it. Golf at Jack Frost National Golf Club or Split Rock Golf Course. Picnic riverside at the Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area. For the less adventurous, there is plenty of shopping just a short drive away. Jim Thorpe, "The Switzerland of Pennsylvania" boasts boutique shopping and dining, while The Crossings Premium Outlets in Tannersville offer shops with more name brands. Feel like lounging around? Kick back in a recliner, start a fire and watch a movie!
