Cozy studio in the former rectory of Xonrupt-Longemer

The apartment in the attic comprises a beautiful room with a double bed (1.40x1.90), which invites you to relax during the day with a bedspread. In the kitchenette (ceramic hob with 2 hotplates, sink, *** refrigerator, oven with 5 heating types and grill function, microwave), delicious meals can be prepared thanks to the good equipment with cooking utensils and dishes and enjoyed at the fold-out table in the dining area. Kettles, coffee pressers and machines offer tea and coffee drinkers breakfast enjoyment. The holiday wardrobe can be stored in the built-in wardrobe. If necessary, a baby bed (approx. 60x120cm) or a folding bed for older children can be added.
The small, heated hall with seating area leads to the bathroom. There you will find a spacious shower, wash basin and toilet.

The apartments have a separate entrance and a veranda with a small seating area where skis and sleds can be parked in winter. There is also space here for prams and pushchairs. In the stairwell there is a shelf with books and board games, as well as tourist information material.
In the garden you will find a separate seating area with wooden garden furniture with a seat cushion, where you can have breakfast in the morning sun and eat in the evening sun. The charcoal grill can also be used here. There is a sandpit for small children on the meadow that my guests can use to play and camp. Next door is the tennis court, which can be rented from the mayor's office.

In the heart of the small village of Xonrupt (approx. 1500 inhabitants), near the bakery, butcher / delicatessen and pharmacy, is the former rectory on the church square, which was built in the middle of the last century. We acquired it in spring 2013 and renovated it largely by ourselves, whereby we placed emphasis on natural, healthy and environmentally friendly materials.
Despite the central location, it is in the green, far from the main street. All major shops and several restaurants are within walking distance.
There are also tennis courts, a small skate park with basketball hoops and a playground for small children.
On the outskirts of Gérardmer, the closest town, you will find several supermarkets and a health food store about 3 km away.
The clean and pristine, beautifully situated lake can be reached quickly on foot or by bike via a varied and safe route. It is ideal for swimming, pedal boating and fishing.
Hikes, bike trips and walks in the beautiful surroundings can be undertaken directly from the house. There are many other activities in the area, such as playing tennis; Karting, quad and mountain biking; Paintball and laser game; Climbing and barefoot park and summer bobsleigh run.

There are 2 small ski lifts, ski jump, cross-country ski run and sledge run on site. The large, demanding ski areas of Gérardmer and La Bresse Hoheneck can be reached quickly by car.

The entire house, including the veranda, is non-smoking. Pets are mine for a fee of 5.- / day welcome.
