Very nice 100 year old apartment

My husband and I staying for several days and liked the apartment. It has large comfortable rooms. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. Everything was as advertised and there is a grocery store close by. The neighborhood is old so there is a mix of well maintained and abandoned houses but we felt safe.

This was a comfortable, well-appointed and equipped space with ample room and a convenient location. When I return to Shreveport (my hometown) I hope this apartment will be available because, if it is, I will book it!

Wonderful older home

We really enjoyed our stay on our way to New Orleans. The home is nice and had everythign we needed. It is a beautiful older home with very high ceilings and a lot of space. We would love to say here again when passing through. It was close to a lot of things which is great for longer stays in Shreveport.

This was a beautiful property set in the middle of a historical district. Most of the surrounding properties had been refurbished as is this one. It was a little bit confusing at the beginning when we arrived there. The door sign was missing, we cannot tell which door was supposed be. But the host was super nice and helpful! She answered our call at late night and help us out! Appreciated!! House was unique and clean overall, except there have couple smudges on the wall but no big deal. It was very historic and cute place for a family stay. Beside the 2 beds, there have a futon and a large L shape couch. The kitchen is clean. Overall, we enjoyed our time in this house.

Reservation Cancelled by the host

I received a notification the morning of my trip that the host cancelled my reservation stating that there was already a long term tenant staying there. If you have your property reserved, be sure that it isn’t listed as available. She had no problem requesting payment when I reserved the place. We had to drive home 4 hours after a wedding because VrBO had no other properties available. Unacceptable.

WOULD NEVER BOOK HERE

AREA OF THE VRBO IS VERY SCARY AND UNSAFE. THIS UNIT IS DIRTY AND HAS ROACHES HAVE THE PICS TO PROVE IT. NEIGHBORS ARE LOUD AND SIT OUTSIDE WITH LOUD MUSIC. THERE IS NO TV IN THE LIVING ROOM AS IN THE PICS. THE BEDDING WAS DIRTY SO WE BOUGHT NEW SHEETS FOR THE KING BED ALSO UPON ARRIVAL NO TRASH BAGS THEY DID OFFER TO BRING SOME BY BUT NEEDED THEM ASAP TO COOK SO BOUGHT SOME WHEN WE BOUGHT THE SHEETS. LOTS OF COPS AND SERINS ALL DAY AND NIGHT IN THIS AREA WAS HARD TO SLEEP WAS WORRIED ABOUT CAR THE ENTIRE TIME. HOST WAS OK JUST NOT AS LISTED AND PRICE WAS SUPER HIGH FOR WHAT YOU GET. AGAIN HOST WAS OK JUST WOULD NEVER STAY AGAIN DUE TO THE AREA AND BUGS IN HOME.
